  • I'm going to have to turn the volume down on this one (not literally in the recording, mind you) and get it out of the way. This is such a difficult song for me to listen to, and while I'm generally not a fan of vocal tracks, it makes no difference whether this one is fully instrumental or has its Japanese vocals. It's really emotionally heavy in more ways than one, but... as it was requested by VideoGameJNPoop, I went for it anyways. Only the GameBoy Advance version is going up this year; it's too much for me to go for both this and the cleaned-up DS version at the same time. I actually thought of looping this differently to the instrumental version, but in the end, the whole thing is looped like what was done for the instrumental one.
Right, enough talk... 3 years after the instrumental version was featured, we now have the Japanese vocal version of Promise - Next New World from RockMan Zero 4, and like the instrumental version, it runs nearly a full minute over 15 minutes, classifying this as a 15 Minutes of Video Game Music+ entry.
Recorded off my GameBoy Advance SP (AGS-101).

I remember havin' requested the instrumental version 3 years ago, due to the reason I said back then, it still hits hard for me on both sides (game and IRL), the game because... if you know, you know... but for the IRL part... just take a look to my comment about that song in the instrumental version, man, the time goes really fast, and in the upcoming days I have to move to one of my houses that my father left for me, and (pretty much) start all over again from scratch.
