- In this video I review a brand new 2025 Toyota Camry XSE. This new Camry was the XSE AWD trim and is essentially the top of the line trim for the new Camry.

What are your thoughts on this brand new 2025 Toyota Camry XSE AWD?
I like it so much that when my lease is up on my 2022 RAV4 SE hybrid… I’m getting one. Already in the works for a 2025 AWD in underground with a cockpit red interior… Fully loaded, except for the optional wheels. I can’t see spending $1500 on wheels when I can put that money toward accessories.
Just got a midnight black XSE. I like the supersonic red, the ocean gem blue and the heavy metal silver on the XSE...and obviously the midnight black as well!
Got my 2025 XSE AWD in Heavy Metal with the black roof and love it. Smooth ride and handles great. Also love my red interior.
There is no “gears” in a CVT transmission.
Sir, let me educate you about 2 aspects on hybrid cars that you don’t know. 1) Many hybrids have a lower mpg on highways because at high speed the hybrid system cannot kick in; meanwhile, in the city, when you’re in traffic and red lights, the engine is able to turn off. 2) You can’t compare a plug-in hybrid with a hybrid…those are 2 different systems, the plug-in is almost an EV because it has a bigger battery, dedicated to power the car for certain set of miles. So in conclusion, none of these cars have nothing on the new Camry.
@@junito1008 I realized your first point after reviewing I believe the new Prius after this new Camry. Makes perfect sense because during city driving it’s practically all electric like you said!
You can’t compare the Hyundai plugin to this hybrid Camry cuz it’s not a plug in. Toyotas plugins are the Prime line up like the Prius Prime and RAV4 Prime. Now the Prius Prime gets about 500 something miles total. You get about 44 miles on electric before the combustion kicks in.
I got myself the SE in underground two weeks ago. Cold weather and convenience packages. Its nice. I only drive it on weekends or after work if I go out. I only have a few hundred miles so far. When i came home today a new XSE was parked a few houses away. Beautiful ocean gem. The paint was all but gone off the drivers quarter panel. It doesn't look dented. I felt bad for them. They also still have the paper plates. My daughter totaled her new Civic last year. Warning. There are a lot of new cars wrecked. I think people are unfamiliar and get distracted easily in new vehicles.
I like him . I subscribed.
Thanks!
Could you review the Camry LE?
@@jeffreyerickson6766 I’ll try to find one. I don’t know if this dealership has one but I will ask!
Thank you 🎉
The 3.0 safety system comes on all Camry trims
I’m waiting on the ocean 🌊 gem 💎 color with the black top xse front wheel drive and j b l package 👍🏾✌🏾
I’m thinking about building that one too. I’ve been looking at a lot of the Toyotas around where I’m at and nobody has the ocean gem so I’m gonna have to order it on Toyota‘s website.
@@jaexster750 yes I had to do the same so now it’s just to play the waiting game ✌🏾patiently waiting 🙏🏿💎
The trim and rims I want to buy soon
Nice color too
🤣atleast mention
The real out the door price!
Jsut got one in wind chill
Pearl
Yesterday, about 42k OTD
Is it worth? Hell
Yes!!! But man it would
Be nice if we could be really paying MSRP OTD.
This one is 39
@@AntsCarReviews so about 43k OTD
36K budget friendly really?
True. Still expensive but this is the top of the line trim and some new vehicles are ridiculous so I was just saying that comparative to other brand new models
Yep! That’s pretty good for top of the line. The base model starts at $30k if you prefer that one.
So what is your mpg compared to MotorTrend then ?
It had very little miles on it, and was only driven around in a dealership lot before I drove it. Not a very good example for an accurate avg mpg
@@AntsCarReviews makes sense thanks. Curious about what trip computer says just for a ride (but i know the number may not be stable)
@@albondar if you look through the video there’s a shot in there when I’m talking about the odometer that show the avg mpg for this Camry. But if I remember correctly it was only like 15/16. (This was before I was driving it and I don’t remember where it was at after)
Again tho that number is only very low cause it has no miles on it and was only driven probably on and off a trailer and around a dealership lot. Also may have been sitting on at idle for idk how long
@@AntsCarReviews right I get it, cold start will give that number in any car. Thanks for the replies, nice review !
