  • Had a few requests for a blue and white nymph. Here is one I like to use in the wintertime for trout and salmon. These really are under used colors that can produce great results! Well worth a try!

    Yes! This is going to be a keeper! Might try a few of these this weekend, but won't be fishing them...we're in full runoff. Great tie!!

    Is there any videos of your flies actually being used? I’d love to see them in action.

    Im curious if you could use a bead and exchange the hackle for something else, making it a wet fly. Just dunno what it could be

    • @FlyFishMike_
      @FlyFishMike_ 2 месяца назад

      Try a soft hackle instead ( or a glass bead ) , and keep the CDC. Might not look the same, but it'll get just below the surface film on the swing.

      I have put up some I use all the time. But there is really no silver bullets as its going to come down to the species, region, and food in your area. There are many general patterns that work just about everywhere. Part of the reason I like buggy flies
