    Excellent tip Rick and these should be helpful in both Everyday driving and Road Test environments. About to take the road test on April 27 at NJ MVC Randolph site.

    Great video Rick, and a quick question I have too. Cutting it a little close I guess since my road test is tomorrow.. I live in BC also, and was wondering... When parallel parking am I allowed to tilt my mirror down to see where about the curb is, of course looking out the back but glancing at the mirror has to be ok?

    • @smartdrivetest
      @smartdrivetest  6 лет назад

      Hi Paul Jerse - Thank you for your comment and query. I don't recommend you tilting your mirror down; it takes time and it simply annoys the examiner. Most examiners are simply not going to wait for you to adjust your mirrors. The common thinking is that you should be able to do it without moving the mirrors. If there is anything further we can do, drop us a note. Always happy to help. All the best, Cheers Rick

      Ok thanks. Maybe I'll be able to do it upon pulling up without them waiting ;). Would I be deducted points for having to tilt them? I can parallel park without tilting them... just figured many modern cars are sold where when you place the vehicle in reverse the mirrors auto tilt.. Mine are just electric and a press of a button does the trick

      Hi Paul Jerse - Thank you for your comment. You are correct about modern technology, but examiners are in a hurry, and that few moments may annoy some. In most cases, you would lose a couple of demerits. If you can do it without adjusting the mirrors, that would be my counsel. If there is anything further we can do, drop us a note. Always happy to help. All the best, Cheers Rick

    My instructor told me that I'm not allowed to occupied the crosswalk lane at the stop sign but i need to creep up to see the traffic flow. How I can see the traffic flow if i will not do 2nd stop?

      check if there are pedestrians, if not then creep forward
