I sent back my flyknit ultras, which are probably my favorite boots, and I got a voucher for them but it was only worth 120. I had used nike claim service two or three previous times and it has worked so I knew I did everything right and i was confused why they only gave me part of the money back. So I called nike plenty of times and they kept on saying the same thing and being difficult, I even showed them my proof of purchase which is not necessary for a claim in the US and I read the terms and conditions to prove some of the employees wrong when they referred to them. All in all I was disappointed with there customer service. I finally got them to make an internal claim where they would check with the inspector that supposedly checked my cleats to see why the incorrect amount of money was set back. Weeks later I get an email saying that after checking with the inspector, the product I sent back was not the limited edition flyknit ultra worth 250 USD, but was a pair of sneaker called “Pegasus” worth 120 USD. I was in shock when I read this, because I never even owned or purchased a pair of Pegasus and i was very disappointed and upset with the customer service and claim system. I don’t know if they did this because I already made three claims, although it was in the span of three years and not four months. I learned that even though the directions when submitting a claim never state to place a proof of purchase when sending the product, it does not hurt to send one, so that the inspector doesn’t mess up. I’m know I already said this but i was very upset and in shock, because nike was straight up lying to me and I had no power to do anything. I loved the cleats and I love other nike products, but I am really mad about this incident and will be more careful when making any other claims, which by the way I am about to send back my vapor 12s, so wish me luck :)
Thats why I don't waste time with Nike, unreliable and overpriced, and they don't seem to really want to honor warranties. If I had to go Nike it would probably be the Premiers since the build is practically idiot proof, a K-leather soccer boot. But as its Nike, I'd be lucky if it last 6 months.
lesson of the story, buy a fish (nike) and you'll be able to play for a couple of months, but buy a net (Adidas predators) and it will last you a lifetime

Nike only stops taking returns one year at a time. So a full calendar year after you would have been able to once again do returns.
