My friends: But why are you charging so much for scaled armour. It's not even that big! How much work can it be? Me: *gestures aggressively at this video* Looking incredible so far - can't wait for the final installment!
I am now thinking ... this is what would have been created if a woman of the 1830's watched this movie. It seems women with more financial means of bygone era's would see something ... and just have it copied for them. Yup, I think this would have >so< been "a thing" ! I am in awe already! ...and I have a feeling you're going to "awe" us some more!
I love watching you work. My jaw dropped as you worked on the leather squares! How many hours did it take to prepare them? You are a woman of patience! Your hat is a work of art. I'm waiting anxiously for the reveal.
Holy moly! I’m in awe…seriously. The final costume will be a work of art. I’m really excited for the reveal! Where on earth did you find that luscious green silk? It’s almost exactly what I’m looking for to complete a project I’m working on. Thank you, as always, for sharing your incredible work here on ye olde interwebs. Wishing you love, light, and good health.
😅 haha thank you ❤️ the silk was bought at Textielstad. But unfortunately it was the last on the bolt. Hence I had to do some creative piecing😅 maybe try silkbaron. They have a lot of beautiful shot silks.
"WAIT! You forgot your sword!" I love everything about this costume adaptation. One question, though, in case you ever do it again: could you have clipped a bunch of the cut leather pieces together and painted their edges severally, instead of one-by-one? (Or did you do that, but not on camera?)
This gets cooler and cooler every video, beautiful work.
Aww thank you ☺️
Your patience with those leather squares is impressive. This is an amazing project. Thanks for sharing your process.

This video is so relaxing. I don't know if it's the combination of your voice and the music and the sewing but I am soothed.
😅❤️ thank you

Haha thank you! Yes eventually I was able to paint multiple scales at once😅
That silk is so gorgeous. The red tint makes it look almost like the costume was stained from battle. Where did you get it?
Thank you ☺️ I bought it a store here In The Netherlands
Where did you get the glazed cotton, if I may ask?
At the kniphal, Albert cuyp markt, Amsterdam. 😅
@@Leeam thank youu, I'll have to look next time I go
