Pentax SDM to Screwdrive Tutorial

Download PK Tether
Download notepad++
Install PK Tether
Open Pk Tether
Plug in camera via supplied USB Cable
SD Card must be in camera
Click Debug Mode on in PkTether
Minimize PK Tether
Download Drop Box Files Pentax Hack Files (2 Of them)
Drag files to root of SD Card
Turn Camera off and Back on
Unplug camera
Scroll down to Lens ROM Dat Camera - sd card and hit ok
Turn camera off
Pull SD card out and plug into card reader
Open SD card on computer and open lens profile file with Notepad++
Keep backup of original file
C0 to 80 on column 3 and make sure to leave column 5 alone
Beware Column 5 03e0 and 07e0
Save file - copy and replace it on the SD card and eject the SD card
Put the card back into the camera
Turn the camera back on
Scroll back down to lens ROM Dat SD - Camera and press ok
Scroll back over to debug mode disable, then format SD card
All Done!
