My SMC DA 50/135 lens motor just died. This must be a common problem. Pentax should fix for free. IF it wasn't for the unsolder I would do it my self to fix. This lens was not cheap brand new and I have only had it for like 10 years and not daily use either.
Hi send the lens to us :)
Please help...Looking for someone to fix this problem on my 50-135, i live in France.
Hi send the lens to us :)
Hi, I have the same lens and its focus ring won’t work along with the focusing motor that won’t focus as well. The latter is SDM failure I believe but what about the focus ring which won’t turn manually as well? Any suggestion?
Hi, there is something wrong with the focus gear
@@DIGISERVICEBG can it be repaired or it is better to use the optics etc. as spare parts. What should I do?
Is the new replacement motor an improved design?
Hi yes it is :)
@@DIGISERVICEBG OF course they know its a problem then. Why are there not bearings in the original motor?
Good morning, my lens start to make problems. Autofocus is sometimes not working. Where can I get replacement motor and (if needed) where can I get the balls?
Hi send the lens to us :)
