Thank You SO Much!!!!! Great Music Too. Aero Chord!!!! My 16-50 works intermittently at the moment (takes a while to get it going. Once in gets going it wont stop 'til its unmounted). Now to find that replacement ring.

I've watched few videos of this repair, but sorry I can not give a thumb up to this one, coz I dun have a 100" monitor to see what actually going on in there, and there is no narration or caption of the procedure but loud music. If you have ever disassemble this lens, you will know it is not that straight forward, such as those tiny spring loaded contacts and the PCB need to be careful when removing, and I lost one tiny ball contact during the repair.

Hello, the spare part is original from Pentax. I have autorization to be official service center in Bulgaria. If you want to repair the lens, you should send the lens to us or another service center around the world :)
I have a 16-45 f4 which has stiff docusing ring and in addition when I put it on camera the viewfinder gets very dark. if you are familiar with this problem can you give me a repair price? Thanks.

After spending a fortune on the lens when it first came out, its just starting to show its age now, and playing silly games with its focusing....so will be sending it away to get sorted...If I tried this, I would end up with a Pentax Lens paperweight !!
