    -put butter on it
    -Add Mexican table cream
    -add chili powder
    -add the powdered cheese stuff

    And boom

    Fuck man. I've been trying to find a decent way to make it because my aunt was from Mexico and would always make it for me and my cousins when she was around. All I'm seeing is different people in the comments, all saying they're latina/mexican, saying it's made different ways. Some say white corn, some say yellow. Some say fresco isntead of what's in the video. Some saying butter, some saying no butter. Some saying too much mayo, some saying not enough. Yes to tajin. No to tajin. Just regular chili salt. No chili salt. It's sounding like it's more or less something that's just different from area to area but with the same basic ingredients. So does anyone want to pop in how they eat it or make it? Authentic ways.

    • @alfarer2107
      @alfarer2107 7 лет назад +3

      Vixey Lazer yes, it depends on the area. In my state we use a recipe similar to this one, but with white corn and ¿liquid spicy sauce for snacks? (salsa botanera). I see a lot of people complaining about the ingredients but actually when you order a corn in Mexico the elotero asks you if you want it with this or that (you can tell him not to add butter or with little mayo), so there's not one "authentic" street corn, because each corn it's different according to one's likings

    The creators and people behind Tasty must have some major self-esteem to deal with allllllllllll the negative, mean comments they get every single day from their viewers. I NEVER see positive or nice comments for anything they make! Here's an idea... you don't think it looks good? DON'T. MAKE. IT. You think an ingredient is wrong/gross/unnecessary/not authentic enough? CHANGE. IT. Who seriously has nothing better to do than to constantly complain about these freaking recipes?! (and yeah, yeah I guess I have nothing better to do than read the dumb comments and make one myself ;-) ;-)

      no one hates on the video's. They just state their opinion. Every heard about criticism? In fact, they need it to know what they're doing wrong and improve. Yes, obviously there are unnecessary comments out there but that's the minority. It's not a big deal really, you're just making it one. So am I lol. This is similar to how we do it in Chicago. The main difference is that we use butter that is in a squeezable bottle and once we put the cheese on we will put the butter on top of the cheese. Some people will get the chili on it but for me I only get the mayonnaise cheese and butter on mine being I don’t care for very spicy food and from what I’ve heard the chili they use is very spicy. But it’s been a staple of my childhood during the Spring and Summer Time 😁😁😁😁.

    i make this all the time and you can substitute parmesan cheese if you cant find or dont want to buy cotija. honestly not a huge taste difference. i also usually cut it off the cobb and mix everything together...less messy.
