@@neospiderman2165 Toe spring is when your toes are in an elavated position compared to your forefoot (toe extension) within the shoe in a static position. It can be beneficial by helping to facilitate forward motion and reduce load to certain joints and tendons in your foot/ankle. It could also be have negative effects for those with stiff toe joints or any foot imbalances
There was a review where Zach explains that the tight and narrow helps with jumping/ changing direction mechanics. But I do think that most shoes brands should do Wide versions like NB and Asics do to fit wide feet demographic
Hate how the 808 4s fit. The mid foot & heel are fine, the outer side past the mid section, just before the small toe pinches like hell. Compared to the All City 12s, those shoes feel tighter on the outer side before reaching the center of the toe box. They're also more humid and trap in more moisture. There's solid plastic on the outside that visibly fogs up from the heat & humid moisture after walking in them for a mile or two. 808 4s have some real issues.
Doc could you review the new Anta Model, its called ANTA Swagger 1.0, just recently saw in an ANTA shelves today and to our county's ANTA social media page. It seems like a new shoe line by ANTA. It looks similar to the previous ANTA Shockwave with a bit of KAI 1 influence. It seems like a great shoe cuz it like a cheaper lighter version of the KAI 1. Would love to see a video on it. As usual great shoe breakdown Doc!!
how’s the torsion of the shoe? I’ve seen Chinese reviewers say the torsion is bad and the shoe bends at the center of the shoe. I was surprised to see a shank actually present
@@FootDoctorZachI saw it. in the Chinese reviews they show the shoe bending right in the middle. I guess they were really trying their best to bend the shoe hard 😅
Nice looking shoes 👟. I know I've said this before but those exact shoes with a huge swoosh on the side of the shoe would make the shoe look much much worse. So much cleaner with little wade symbol (or whatever it is)

What makes a design team go "let's make it narrow"
I do think, NBA players have very long and narrow feet.
