Thank you for appreciating our little island nation. Really love how excited you are with your new experiences! Hope you have had a fabulous time here and in all your future travels!
Singapore looks amazing. Loved the food stalls at the beginning - your food looks incredible. We’ve heard it’s impeccably clean - that’s so lovely to see. It looks such a forward thinking city. We didn’t realise there was such an array of architecture. Great work guys 🍻
It is such a beautiful city and yes it is SO clean! It is so innovation. We are loving the hawker centers! SO good and cheap too! Thanks so much for watching :)
The public transportation charges are distance-based. Tap once to enter at the start of the journey and tap once to exit at your destination station. Since both of you tapped the same card, I can only imagine that the ticketing system read that you entered and exited at the same station.
Thank you for visiting Singapore. Hope you will enjoy our local at our hawker centres all over Singapore. As I local, I enjoyed your video. If you are in the city area, things are much more expensive. Do also enjoy some free attractions like the botanic garden. Fort canning Park and so on. Cheers !!!
We are so glad to hear you enjoyed our video! We have more Singapore videos coming too, we hope you will enjoy them as well :) We are loving the Hawker Centers! Thanks so much for watching!
@13:24 - Singapore transits use a tap in tap out distance based rate/charge. The card is for one user per trip. The initial 2 taps on entry basically ended/cancelled the transaction . The one exit tap without entry tap ( that's what happened) will be at max chargeable rate ( up to ~$3 more). The system won't allow a 2nd exit tap because it's not rateable ( a one time charge/transaction per individual only).
2:05 I've heard before if a local gets caught littering, spitting out gum, or not throwing away their cigarette buts they are forced to work as street sweepers for one day. Which is funny cause you'll even see multi millionaire CEO's, Stock Brokers, and Businessmen being forced to do that.
@@ordoabchao4202 KL for sure but I loved BKK a lot. I do enjoy the chaos of BKK although I avoid all the club areas though. Didn't get a bad belly at all there or in KL
Singapore 🇸🇬 is not your typical South East Asia city. A combination of Modern Architecture surrounded by old British 🇬🇧 colonial buildings with lush foliage on the skyscrapers. Very westernized yet still preserve the old rustic looks of old village settings. Welcome to Singapore 🇸🇬.
Uncle watched the clip Jacob and Jenny. Both were cute, leaving the job to travel. Excellent with a young life that is young, asking you both to be safe and happy with tourism. โชคดีท่องเที่ยวให้มีความสุขทุกประเทศอย่างปลอดภัยSAWADDEE
We are so happy you enjoyed the video! We still can't believe we quit our jobs to travel! Thank you for the well wishes. We wish the best for you as well☺️ and hope you will continue to follow our travels!
Do we get to see a video of the accomodation you're at? Don't miss out on other attractions in Singapore, like Orchard Rd ( Famous st. full of modern malls), Botanical Gardens (Free entry and awesome place to observe nature), Sentosa Island, Haji Lane, Little India, Mandai Zoo / Night Safari / Bird park, Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, and all the famous Hawker Centres like Newton, Tiong Bahru and Chomp Chomp in Serangoon Gardens ( Which has a nice foodie vibe during weekends - Hawker Centre,. Coffee shops, bars, etc ). Enjoy !!!

Glad that so far you 2 are enjoying yourselves. Hope the next few days are going to be as good if not better.❤ By the way, Singapore Sling originated from Raffles Hotel. Unfortunately, it's not cheap.
We are having the best time in Singapore, except for the expensive drinks 😉 haha!! But really it has been amazing so far! Thanks for much for your comment!
But worth paying out the high price for one & not the $18 they were quoted. I would rather pay double that price as many people do if it meant drinking it at the famous raffles hotel.
We are sorry that you couldn't a table and chairs to sit down and enjoy your food. Perhaps it was then office lunch hours. Try visiting again during off-peak hours.
Because when you look up at things to see & do it doesn't come up among the top sights it's way down on the list. I've been there & would like to revisit. I knew about the place which was known as Tiger balm gardens as my dad was there in the 60's when he was in the marines. Great place though & shouldn't be overlooked.
@@JacobandJennyTravel Hi guys. Luv yr enthusiasm n positive energy! Yeah, Pulau Ubin is a must-visit. It harks back to a rustic Spore of the 1950s/60s. If u hv time, do check out Sungei Buloh Wetlands Nature Reserve n MacRitchie Reservoir (n its canopy walk)...Jes to name a few places dat tourists ought to visit but hardly ever do. Hv fun!
Singapore is clean but depends on where about you are. Some places you can spot trash as there are people who are too lazy to walk to the trash bin with a heck care attitude.
@@JacobandJennyTravel To use the Infinity Pool, you need to be a guest at the hotel. However, if you just want to get to the Skypark and see the view, it's a ticketed attraction (I think it's $25 per pax?). Alternatively, you can patronise one of the restaurants/bars on the top - Ce La Vie, Spagos, or Lavo (pls check). Then the "price" of admission is whatever you ordered. Spagos is where Chef Wolfgang Puck is (IIRC), but I do not know what your chances are of seeing the chef, if that's even something you wish for. Ce La Vie is a bar and restaurant, so for the price of a drink, you can get the sights... and a drink.
If you head to tower 3, there's a desk there where you can queue up to get to Celavi skybar. This is often free, although you are expected to buy drinks, of course. During peak times they have a $30 cover charge, but you can redeem this against food and drinks.
