Yea I’ve done everything solo so far I mean it’s your game, play how you like! It’s about overcoming the challenge no matter how. I just personally like to solo without anything but it’s def possible once you learn when to dodge.
Well done. That was really clean bobbing and weaving around the Margit's spinning magic sword-staff attacks and you never got greedy. You had enough health that his upswing staff attack didnt own your health meter when you paused to charge the ending blow at 4:30! Btw i enjoyed watching as a Hero melee only build two handed ax for 50% more damage and no shield.
At first I was struggling, coming from only Bloodborne to Elden Ring, the dodge timing and health system really threw me off. Upset that I beat him with a summon, but the summon died halfway through and I finished him off from there, great boss fight! Took me around 20+ times until I consistently got him to around 40% health solo so it’s not too bad. Wish I found this earlier to see how a samurai build should be played as compared to a Strength (/Skill) Axe build in BB, great video!
Listen man the summons are there for a reason lol I use to use summons for all of them until I learned to solo them. Play it how you want and if anything go back in new game plus and do it solo so your ready for it glad you got him tho it was super tough. And thanks for the feedback !
I’m a Samurai. 1st character. 1st From game. Very noob. Only got the game few days ago. But I got to Margit today & it’s nice to see him being defeated by Samurai class. Now I just need to learn the patterns & get good!
After having Margit beat his attack patterns into my brain for longer than I'll admit, I finally beat him today. I was a level 19 samurai similar to your build here, though without any weapon upgrades. The fight looked a lot like yours, though you're better at dodging the second phase attack strings than I am (that sword combo is nasty). I used the Unsheathe move and jump attacks more though, so I was able to break his stance twice in the fight. For my play style, the best way to survive a fight is to end it quickly!

Dude I’m lvl 27 and Margit is so damn easy to get to like a quarter health every time but the he stops doing attacks I can attack him on and does multiple combos in a row and I don’t see anything like that in literally any vid ab this fight I don’t understand he is so easy to deal damage too until he bring out the hammer and that’s another thing I saw a multiple vids of people rolling to the right/forwards on his hammer jump attack and they can get a couple hits I’ve tried it so many times and I can get a hit in then he dices me up with his dagger but I can’t roll or get any further than that I’m so confused

I played Elden for the third tjme or so as I borrowed it from my cousin. At level 9 headed straight for Margit, on my 17th ir so attempt, I had him at literally 1HP, I had 1 final potion and was at half health, but for some idiotic reason I decided not to heal and got so punished. Gonna try again the next time I get the chance
You should he’s awesome the only issue is if you want to use spells you would have to sacrifice points for the build into int and faith. But other then that solid starter and good armor
I'm still waiting for From to fix the PC version, before I get the game. Not giving them my money before that happens. If it doesn't happen, then screw them. I'm tired of their ignoring the PC community and not fixing their shit.
I assume you don’t have it for a console as well? I never buy much on my gaming pc unless I know it works lol so I don’t blame u. It’s a shame tho it’s an incredible game
@@latinoviking I don't have a console and am not interested in playing on one. They released a PC version. So they should treat it the same way they do the other platform versions. I mean, the game sold ~12 million copies across all platforms. ~10 million of those are PC sales. So I think it's pretty fair and reasonable to expect them to fix the PC version asap, as it is their best-selling version.

i used wolf summons and the sorcerer summon to cheese this fight but it was still quite hard

I went confessor first and switched to the samurai I don’t regret it at all confessor just didn’t feel right

What was the problem exactly? I guess they fixed it cause I'm playing it with a rx580 (started last week) and no problems.
