      I haven't progressed too much, but I can tell you that I did find a merchant who sold me more INT sorceries and they are pretty good so that stat is worth while. Although most of the interesting weapons I've found so far require some Strength, so be sure to invest a bit on that stat too so you have more weapon options.

    i see a common mistake here. lot of players are dodging in wrong way. if the boss attack comes from left - to - right, you should dodge to the left and vice versa. when this boss is charging you with his shield (front - to - back from player perspective), you should roll either to the side or directly to the boss, because if you roll within the direction of the shield bash, you are much more likely to be hit (it is how attack and invicibility frames works). anyway, good job :)

      Thank you Andrej! Yeah, that's some really valuable advice on how to take advantage of i-frames 👌

  • @thehowlingfantodz
    @thehowlingfantodz 2 года назад +86

    Advice, stick to his left (shield) side. Until he starts attacking with the shield then stick to his right (axe side) near his head. Roll when he swings. Hit. Roll again. Hit. Roll again. Hit. 4 strong hits should stun him. Jump strong attacks are good for stunning. Use skill to do maximum damage while stunned.
    Also, you don't need to jump to avoid the shield. Just Roll back at the right time.
    The shield timing is similar to his axe swing attacks.
    EDIT: mixed his left with my left

Sometimes bosses have added moves after their health bar gets to a certain level. Ill even count off sometimes during moves. 1...2.. dodge .. back, attack .. 1 dodge.. Its how my brain is wired. I can get either two R2s or three R1s off of it, and sometimes he'll do the hoof attack which depending on the weapon leave an opening for another attack.

    This character must’ve meant something special seeing how they’ve given him more attacks than I can count. The halberd attacks seem fine but the RANGE of a couple of his shield ones is so ridiculous I would unironically describe them as “HAX!”

    Bro this took me so long to do too as the prisoner.
    I realised pretty early on that I could do the first half then finish him off with glintsword when he gets his 1 shot shield attacks.
    BUT I still fully did it with the rapier just to fucking send him a message.

    Wow. You are amazing. I returned my copy of the Elden Ring last night. Tried playing it and gave myself the chance to explore and enjoy but it did not really work out for me. It is no doubt a great game and I am really glad everyone is enjoying it. I beat Demon’s Souls Remake as my first FromSoftware game so dived into this one hoping to enjoy it but realised it isn’t for me.
    Once again amazingly played 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

      Thank you Jawad. It's a shame the game didn't click for you. If you beat Demon's Souls Remake I advice you to try one of their other more modern games like Dark Souls 3, which is much more linear than Elden Ring and therefore you'll probably enjoy it as much or even more than Demon's Souls Remake. Please don't give up on these games just yet!

      @@noelight2900 Thank you so much. Yes I was also thinking about giving Dark Souls 3 a try. May be I can come back to Elden Ring later someday but right now I felt very overwhelmed by it plus my limited time after work does not allow me to play it and explore for longer durations and then the difficulty requires a lot of patience and commitment so I feel better to visit it later when I have more time. Thank you for getting back to me.
      Which class would you recommend in DS3?

    • @noelight2900
      @noelight2900  2 года назад +2

      @@jawadqaisrani3244 Yeah, Dark Souls 3 will be less stressful because exploration is less demanding and it's less time consuming than Elden Ring. The best class in that game is 100% the Knight, you'll start with really solid equipment which will make the first hours of the game more manageable. I hope you give DS3 a try, enjoy the life out of it as I did and then come for Elden Ring because it's an absolutely amazing game.

      Demon’s Souls Remake was my first PS5 game. Honestly, I thought I wouldn’t have been able to even finish half of it and the day I beat it, I was just amazed.
      However, let me tell you that I played with the Royalty class which is considered to be an easy class of the game so I am not sure if I was good enough in the game or my class was easy (lol)

    I have no idea if this post will get auto deleted but for anyone playing prisoner get your load lvl to light by getting rid of the helment so you get the max I frames let him do that charge up attack where he runs at you doge than sprint and pop him with an attack once he is in his second phases the one where he shield slams that attack with the dust going everwhere doge to the Right if you doge backwards the dust will hit and still kill you dont try going to the left cus that also seems to hit got him down to 10% before getting hit and doping dead.
