How to Play Storm in Dungeons & Dragons (X-Men Build)

- Today we're building Storm from the X-men in D&D 5e. If crazy high magic damage and superior mobility are things you're into, this will be a great build for you. With lightning, thunder, and cold damage, you're able to take out huge groups of enemies with a single spell.

Honestly, "Control Weather," can be rectified with a cooperative DM and magic items. Just have a ring/orb/etc with a daily use or something. X3
Or a DM could just allow the sorcerer to have it at a certain point. Some DMs would bend the rules like that if it makes sense.
@@AdamAtYourService i mean, yeah, but im saying this assuming "bending the rules," isnt a factor. XP. In the spirit of it being a build video. So im more saying "thankfully this one wrinkle is easily solved once magic items and actual play comes into the picture," than i am saying "this is the only way to get it."
The combination of Call Lightning and Storm Guide in this build gets the job done, IMHO.
I love the variety of Storm designs in this video. Also, as someone who currently plays a storm sorcerer, this build makes me very happy.
Storm sorcerer is so fun, I've done it myself once upon a time
Still upsets me Storm Sorcerers can’t call lightning or control weather.
@@knightghaleon honestly I think the Sorcerer should be given the bonus spells it had in the Unearthed Arcana version
@@theonlymatthew.l I completely agree. The Sorcerer should have about as many options as a Wizard. And it lacks a General Arcanist style character. Like I don't want to explode in a game. I just want to be able to manipulate magic differently than the wizard and warlock.
I actually asked my DM for a homebrew class fix, to add spells like Call Lightning, Control Water, Maelstrom and Control Weather.
Y'all have played the class before, and it's my first time playing it. What situations has Tempestuous Winds been useful to you? I'm correct in interpreting it as a free jump as a bonus action, aren't I?
Personally I think "Criminal" or "Urchin" would make for a better background, yes, she is a teacher but her growing up on the streets of Cairo as a thief is a bigger part of her background than being a teacher.
I agree!
Agreed. I’m surprised this build doesn’t have a few levels in Rogue.
Urchin is what I took when building her. Makes MUCH more sense for her character history.
Storm is the hardest character to create because... she is also a highly proficient thief but also a talented Omega level mutant bc she knows her powers on a scientific level too. Storm... is powerful lmao
We might need Storm to maybe be redone with Tasha’s Cauldron bc she has got so many Rogue features to her too. Like many people think they take her powers and she cant fight...then she pulls out 9 Knives and guts you in an alley
Can you do a Thanos build in D&D, with our without the gauntlet
Or*
Good news! It happend
I'm building this character now to level 8, when I went to put in the half elf race I found there's new subclasses and one of them is Mark of the Storm Half Elf, so perfect!
that transition from ride the lightning to let the rain fall down was actually really cool.
Awesome build like always. That Chain Lightning combo is wonderful and just makes me internally yell “unlimited power”! Keep up the good work
Love the builds man, glad your channel is getting the love it deserves !
Hey, just so you know, first level sorcerers get four cantrips, not three. I'd suggest Gust, Lightning Lure, or Frostbite.
Id probably pick gust
This entire series is awesome wish I had this a few years ago ! Would be cool to see how you build All Might.
Hey man, just discovered your channel and I’m loving all this content of making characters into DnD. Keep it up!
If I could add a suggestion, could you have a link in the description that shows the Character sheet/PDF of your creations? Would love to be able to read how it all comes together instead of going back through the video. If not that’s cool. I’ll keep watching you regardless.
As for a character you could do.... How about a Hamon/Ripple user from JJBA? Johnathan, Joesph, William or Caesar.
I believe the Sorcerer's Careful Spell metamagic should be house ruled to be as effective as the evocation wizard ability. For once can the Sorcerer not get a a watered-down left over from the Wizard? I don't even want it or need it to be superior, just equal.
I honestly would just cap The Tempest Cleric dip at two levels. None of the subsequent things you get from cleric IMHO trump's the best flying ability in the game as well as high level spells from the sorcerer's list
That's just what I said. And by getting wish, you can control weather or call lightning with little risk of unraveling the fabric of reality.
A thing to note, though, is that Sorcerer's version affects ALL schools of magic, while Wizard gets only Evocation. So it's not absolutely watered down.
Frankly, Sorcerer's watered-down spell list is a problem. Especially given how much more sorcerers commit to having a spell.
So reviewed all the builds, one legend I would like to see is Master Cheif.
Awesome work,like always
Hey thanks, I try. :)
half-elves can also choose the mark of storm as a subrace replacement which would allow you auto gain some spells and some ability check bonuses
Nice build! Truly a hidden gem of RUclips!
We're coming out of the shadows, becoming less hidden every day thanks to viewers like you!
I can easily recommend yakuza to anyone
One I would love to see you take on would be Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell. A true stealth character who can either kill without being noticed at all or sneak past everything and no one was the wiser that he was there.
Could you do Corvo Attano for the Dishonored games?
That's not a bad suggestion and I've only played Dishonored for a couple hours. Corvo has so much he could do
Ororo's background is actually Criminal. Or possibly Urchin. She grew up on the streets in ... Cairo, I believe? Somewhere in Egypt, anyway, and her skills with lockpicks actually saved the X-men's butts at least once.
Great video!
I'd love to see you make a Power Ranger build, a very flashy and over the top fighter that commands a big animal would be quite an interesting build and have a unique play style I think, keep up the great work btw, your vids give me tons of ideas for experimenting with character builds :)
I laughed hard with the "riding the lightining" to "let the rain fall down" hahaha
Suggestion
Can you do a Dio Brando build
I would love this. Probably undying warlock and a Monk.
How would you end up with the world time stop power?
Mass suggestion?
My son asked if you could make a Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. You're videos are great and we've really enjoyed them.
That could be pretty fun. I imagine it would be pretty heavy on monk since that is pretty centric to dental types but definitely some options there. Figuring out their 'morphing time' ability I think might be the main challenge.
@@josephperez2004 There is one guy that designed a subclass on Tumblr that looks pretty good. My son and I want to try it, but it is homebrew. I was hoping this gentleman might have a 5e version we could pull off even in adventure league.
@@liamhay1123 Hmm, that sounds fun. I'm admittedly not an expert and don't expect I could do as good a job as Tulok, but in case he can't get around to helping, I can at least put in my two cents here.
Lots of different Rangers but my basic knowledge of sentai series says the Red Ranger tends to be the most popular and often the leader so we can start with that.
Also Rangers tend to have a team theme so might be worth looking into that as well. Given its D&D, maybe go with a Dragon Ranger type theme.
Dexterity seems like the main stat to go with so make it your highest to get the most out of your Martial Arts action. Follow that up with Charisma to help create a impressive and heroic image and Constitution to help keep fighting the forces of evil. Strength, Intelligence and Wisdom may be less important but that can vary.
Race seems like you could really go with any, but if you want to go with a variant human for a free feat, I would suggest Mobile for more combat movement options since the Rangers often seem to be cartwheeling all over a fight and are good at avoiding counter attacks unless they are swamped. Perhaps for a human skill take Deception if a secret identity is important. Soldier seems like the most workable with Athletics and Intimidation, but I could see maybe making a variant of the Entertainer background (since they made a Gladiator variant) to show the flashy fighting styles and somewhat celebrity status some Rangers enjoy. Acrobatics and Persuasion both seem to fit for your skills in combat styling and the Rangers general preference to avoid fighting if an opponent can be talked down.
For class, start with Monk, taking Athletics or Acrobatics (whichever you are missing) and Insight, to get your Martial Arts in place and given it works with any monk weapon you can let each Ranger have their own distinct weapon if you want with little difference in damage potential.
Next pick up Sorcerer with the Dragon Bloodline. This gives a bit of a boost to HP and AC with Draconic Resilience and let's you pick a Dragon color to represent your Ranger. You can theme your attack spells for the Dragon type as well as take the Message to communicate with other Rangers if you need to split up and the Disguise spell to 'morph' into your Ranger suit to keep your secret identity.
I would say from there go with a Monk 7/ Sorcerer 13 split. Monk would go Four Elements for some extra martial arts skills and some elemental attacks themes after your color of Dragon (for a Red Ranger, Fangs of the Fire Snake and Sweeping Cinder seem like a good fit). Sorcerer spells would be split between more thematic spells for the color (which can be powered up by Elemental Affinity at level 6, which would work with your Monk spells too) and movement or teleportation spells (such as Jump, Misty Step, Dimension Door and Teleportation) to help the Rangers arrive wherever they are needed to fight evil. All the different elemental attacks could be described as coming from special blasters each Ranger has in addition to any specific weapon they use.
This is really basic and of course I glossed over a lot of specifics (such ability increases , feats and more) but if you decide to use it for anything and it helps at all, then happy to help.
@@josephperez2004 Thanks so much, we really appreciate it.
@@liamhay1123 Not a worry. Plenty of possible improvements from the basics I juryrigged together, so feel free to experiment and find what works best. Best of luck in your play.
I know I've suggested RWBY characters before, but I wanna get a bit more specific. What about Cinder Fall? I could see her being a Sorcerer with some Fighter or Ranger levels for her bow-work and twin swords while roasting the competition with some powerful Maiden magic. Perfect for disposing of would-be silver-eyed nuisances. :D
I know I'm late on this, but I went with Fighter (Arcane Archer) 6/Sorcerer (Pyromancy) 14 for a hypothetical Cinder build.
Race: Variant Human or Half-Elf
Skills: Athletics, Acrobatics, Arcana, Perception, Intimidation, Persuasion
Suggested Feats: Sharpshooter; Fighting Initiate; Dual Wielder; War Caster; Elemental Adept [Fire].
Fighting Styles: Archery, Two-Weapon Fighting
Arcane Shots: Bursting, Piercing
Spells (Brackets are origin spells I added):
-Cantrips: Control Flames, Create Bonfire, Fire Bolt, Light, Message, Ray of Frost
-1st: (Faerie Fire, Hellish Rebuke) Burning Hands, Chromatic Orb, Shield
-2nd: (Flame Blade, Heat Metal) Scorching Ray, Hold Person
-3rd: (Fireball, Melf's Minute Meteors) Fly, Flame Arrows
-4th: (Fire Shield, Wall of Fire) Ice Storm, Charm Monster
-5th: (Flame Strike, Immolation) Cone of Cold, Control Winds
-6th: Investiture of Flame
-7th: Delayed Blast Fireball
Metamagic Suggestions: Empowered, Quickened, Careful, Transmuted (damage variety in case of fire immunity)
I dig it, I dig it a lot.
Great build, would love to see some more X-Men builds, or a Green Lantern build, maybe even some Fairy Tail builds. Also a Swamp Thing build would be an interesting challenge
Fun build. I would love to see the Printer of Persia
Casey Jones. I'm telling you, you GOTTA do Casey Jones!
Snowball storm.... I think i know what spell Spongebob was using when he was pummeling Patrick with snow in that one episode.....
Spongebob is a high level sorcerer, obviously
You have exploded in subs, nice job!
It's the anime. Everyone's been asking for it, and I shouldn't be surprised it did well lol
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 Even so, you deserve the recognition!
Hey mate. Just found the channel the other day and plan to go through your backlog. Though here are a few characters that popped to mind I think could be fun to build.
Firstly another X-men character. Nightcrawler. This one sounds easy on paper, just a blue Tiefling with teleport powers, plenty of athletics and some hand to hand skills, but I'm sure you'll add some fun flavour to it.
Next up is a personal favourite. Spawn. I just got done watching the Ghost Rider video and while the pair are similar in some ways. I feel Spawn would give you far more options. He does have chain weapons, but also uses melee combat, guns infused with his power and has a living cloak instead of a mount. Then there is the necrotic magic to think about.
Then finally is the King of Fists Raoh from Fist of the North Star. I foresee a lot of monk in this, but Raoh does wear heavy armour, rides and fights from the back of a titanic warhorse called Kokuoh (Black King) and is just an all around beast. My only suggestion would be a Goliath starting race. Lol.
I'm liking these vids so far. I really want to try out the Iron Man build I watched earlier. I was wondering though, would it be possible to make a Kamen Rider in D&D? If so, how would one go about it? Also more wondering about the ones from the Heisei-Era vice Showa ones.
Control Weather
Is a cleric spell which means only divine soul sorcerers can cast it.
Hey I was wondering if you could do Doomslayer next, you don't have to if it's too much trouble, or don't feel like it but I wanted to put in the request
Could you do a Joshua Graham (The Burned Man) build?
Revenant human, sharpshooter fighter
This build is great for lightning the mood in any party
Love your Content!!! Have you considered making an Escanor Build?
I'd love to see you guys try and recreate a Space Marine from 40k. Depending on how close you try to make it to the source it can be a real challenge to try and fit all those powers in.
Naofumi the Shield Hero would be an interesting and challenging character to try a hand at.
RP wise this is a very dangerous/fun build especially if the DM allows you to apply "water" logic to the game where things in water take an undodgeable hit from lightning. Outside you're a legit monster you're snaring pretty much everything. You have solid knockback and some nasty unblockable attacks in RP. You're just a glassy death blossom if you past it's most like gonna die real quick.
A lot of Xanathars spells would fit well in this build. Great work! Keep it up! Fingers crossed for some Naruto characters soon!
Gotta love Storm. She’s one of the coolest X-Men. Despite X-Men Evolution being a so-so show, it has my favorite version of Storm- mostly because she gets to be the cool aunt to her nephew, a fellow mutant called Spyke.
Okay....I'm sure someone has asked...but travis touch down would be incredibly fun and interesting to see
I am curious how you would build Tanya Degurechaff from Youjo Senki.
Storm is literally the only weather-related character in popular media to not be insane. Weather Report, Thor, Zeus, Mary Embrey, and even fucking Elsa all are at least kinda batshit to varying levels. Storm is unique because she's mentally just a normal person.
Just a suggestion. Maybe Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?
Episode 70 of the Fire Emblem stats: Ororo Munroe.
Storm is all about using reason (electricity and snow), flight (since she can fly), and authority (as one of the handful of X-Men that tends to get the leadership position). She's bad at lances because they conduct electricity.
Her magic, resistance, and charm are great but she's not very strong. She's middle-of-the-road otherwise.
*Storm*
A half-elf sorcerer-cleric known for her control over the weather
Actually elixir has healing powers, he's a pretty cool x-man
The Legendary Assassin Ezio from the assassins creed series sounds like a fun one to make
I WISH YOU COULD get storm of vengeance and then use your channel divinity. AWESOME
Trying to stay within the themetics, I think a modified Air Genasi makes a much better fit for race. Using the Custom Lineage, I gave her +2 Cha vs the +2 Con. Resilient in Dexterity for +1 and Proficiency in Dex saves, Darkvision (sensing air flows) and Speak Primordial. I lose the ability to not breathe (not a loss since Storm was often knocked out by gasses she didn’t manage to vent) and the once per long rest Levitate, which is a bummer, but switching Proficiency in Dex saves for it seems fair.
our Lightning Lords are built almost entirely different. I started with Cleric for martial weapon and heavy armor proficiency and Warcaster as my initial feat followed by Lightning Elemental Adept. the starting level for our campaign is 10 and we haven't started yet, so that's all I've got
I think doing a krieg build from borderlands 2 be awesome.
More M&M's commercial footage in future builds pls.
It's my new goal. M&Ms are too OP to be their own build of course.
A truly noble goal. Only surpassed in nobility by Scar's rule.
dexterity can be made up for by wearing medium or heavy armor, low intelligence isn't to much of a problem in 5th edition, and low strength can be ignored for casters not to mention spells like levitate would solve the problem of moving big things and I am sure you can find a way to better deal with other strength checks/saving throws
Actually, there is a healer: Elixir. You should definitely do him, the duality of healing and harming would be cool.
I dunno if you like people asking for a character but I feel clayface or mr freeze from Batman could be really fun to make
Alucard from hellsing/hellsing ultimate, and team four stars hellsing ultimate abridged great videos to watch btw
i second this
Can we get teasers on who you're doing next?
I would love to see a xenoblade Chronicles character, specifically Rex and the Aegis as that's what I'm trying to build using your advice for stands in the jotaro video
I actually recommend similarly using the Tempest Cleric Class, but instead of Sorcerer I would vouch for Druid because of their many element controlling spells. Having both Cleric and Druid being Wisdom based casters means you only need one high ability score to do spells really well instead of splitting it two ways via Charisma casting Sorcerer. Honestly I think a level 20 Tempest Cleric does fine for Storm like abilities but that's just my two d8s.
You should definitely do guts from berserk
How about Gambit? I think he would be an interesting character. Probably start out as a monk. Allow his playing cards to be bladed & act as monk weapons. This would also put the bo in play. Throw in some artificer to allow him to imbue the cards with fire or lightning. Or maybe some alchemist through the wizard class? Not sure how to scale him through levels though.
I'd be down to see a Lucario build
I've got an... interesting challenge for you. Within reason, how would you build Snowhead Winter Blitz? (a character from a storyset{game, books, etc} I want to make.) Mostly, I'm interested in how you would accomplish the goals of:
Anthro Wolf
Ice Magic
Sword & Shield(of multiple types)
O-Charge(Snow can only use his O-Charge if he is at 1/10 of his HP so, he's definitely fragile. But think of the form as a temporary MAX-STAT{aka 20 in all places})
Polar Opposite(a completely dark, feral, and deadly version of Snow{refered to by Snow as Exe[the initials of his name]} which uses no weapons, and instead, uses claws and teeth)
Two languages(common, of course, and however you wish to decide what Arvaelien is)
A familiar(Firi, a little fox familiar, that can morph into a non-magical anthro)
and finally
Multiple Magic Forms(Ignis Form switches his magic to that of fire and lighting, Terra Form switches to rock and crystal and wood and such, Aer Form turns himself {nearly}invisible, and as fast as the winds, Aqua Form doubles his Ice magic damage, and allows him to use water magic, Lighn Form allows him to use basic light spells, and Daer Form allows him to use basic dark spells{lighn and daer are lesser versions of O-Charge and Polar Opposite})
I'd love to see how you tackle a character like this. Obviously, most things would have to be turned down a bit, some taken completely out, I get that. My challenge is this; how much of this could you fit into a D&D character?
I think Storm Sorcerers and maybe Sea Sorcerers should get access to Control Weather. Making it part of their lvl 18 feature would make a lot of sense. Maybe make them have to spend a pretty large amount of Sorcery points for it to keep it a bit balanced.
I'd love to see Zuko, full on firebender. Obviously a monk of some sort but I'd still like to see it as a video lol
Now I’m curious to see a Static build...it’d probably be a sorcerer/bard build
I would like to see your take on shield hero from “The Rising of the Shield Hero”
I wouldn't be able to live with myself as a DM if I refused to let a Storm Sorcerer learn Control Weather.
Great Episode!!! Would it be possible to see Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho?
You could also re-skin this as a Weather Report/Dominico Puci build. Although his Heavy Weather(the evaoled form of his Stand also named Weather Report. Bizarre right?) would the hard to implement with it being game breaking or gimped.
You need to do the 4 main characters of Konosuba. Individually they can't do much, but together they make a functional team.
Hoonter of Hoonters just be a max int build wizard and spam wish spells or some other spell in order to create insane detonations
Could you please try Sanji from One Piece, he’s probably a simple build but I like his fighting style.
Hmm, maybe a four elements monk to give him that fire kick and air step ability?
Please do Killua from Hunter X Hunter. I’d be interested to see your take on some of the more esoteric assassination techniques he has and how they could be replicated in D&D as well as his lightning hatsu. Godspeed is a really cool and iconic ability, and I reeeaaally wanna fight Beholders with it.
A super quick way would be an Assassin Rogue/Storm Sorcerer or maybe even Evocation Wizard. I say storm sorcerer because while Nen is studied, he's a natural prodigy. And he doesn't need to read a book. But Godspeed can be your Cunning Action Dash at lower levels, and Haste at higher levels
Edit: Godspeed could also be described as the 10 foot fly speed, but you're jumping or running super fast, so you can Chromatic Orb (lightning) then rush away like he does in the fight against Yupi
Edit 2: Rhythm Echo is simply Mirror Image, Mage Armor is flickering lightning as his reflexes improve, Longstrider is part of Godspeed, Shadow Step is Enhance Ability (Cat's Grace) for advantage on Dexterity checks, etc. A lot of Godspeed/his assassination techniques are just casting the right spell
She (in the movies at least) isn’t a natural mutant I say she could be a warlock of the great old one but with dms permission theme everything to lightning
Hello! I found this channel some days ago and I really liked it. I love rogue like games, crawlers and strategic games and such, but I've never play D&D, like actual D&D like these videos. Can someone guide me where do I buy/found a D&D game/guide? Is it like a super big ruleset and then make it yourself? I really want to try it with my friends
Yas! To get started the only thing you "need" is a players handbook, there can be a lot of rules, but at the end of the day it's all up to your game master. If you want a good example of what playing looks like, I recommend Dimension 20, its collegehumors D&D series. Dont expect that level of miniatures, but it gives you a good idea of how basic rules work.
@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 thanks! Now I will put your videos in work ;)
You should do the OG that is kenshiro from fist of the North Star,
Or
The other OG might guy (with 8 gates if possible)
How did I miss this???? Finally!!! Lol
Could you do Saint-14 from the Destiny games? Or even Lord Shaxx. Or any prominent Guardian from Destiny lore. I would love to see how you would tackle translating their abilities to DnD.
I'd really love to see you do a Black Manta build. I'm trying to make one, and it would be very helpful if you made a video. In my opinion.
Its tricky, he does a lot of weird conflicting things. I want a face laser, obviously, and some swimming skills. So probably a fighter, mixing with a war cleric for guiding bolt?
Tulok the Barbrarian oh. That's actually better than what I had in mind. I was thinking of multi classing between Ranger (Revised) for 3 - 4 levels, then Fighter for 14 levels, and then wizard for only 2 levels, mainly for the fire bolt, magic missile (there's a move of his in Injustice 2 that involves him shooting missiles), and scorching ray (just figured I'd take that spell, not sure why. But that was my plan. For race, Variant human. He was genetically modified in the comics. But I definitely think that you're idea is better.
Tulok the Barbrarian for a little flavor, I would've rebranded all the magic as weapons on the suit. And the fire bolt would be the optic heat ray. But that's just what I thought.
Ooh that would work too!
Tulok the Barbrarian It's still a work in progress, mostly because I'm still trying to figure out what feats to add and the ability scores, while keeping in mind multi classing.
Don't forget she started out as a thief. As an adult she could still pick locks and kick ass with daggers.
Could you do Rocket Racoon? I roll him as a Gnome Fighter/ Gunslinger
(Sad face) why did you have to include Storm's death towards the end from Days of Future Past? But great build so thank you so much for this!
Would love to see The Doctor, Silas from the Divinci Code, or The Master Chief
Most spells you grabbed for sorcerer you automatically get as a tempest cleric
Now do Storm when she lost her powers and still bested Cyclops to claim leadership of the X-Men
Would you consider making the “ultimate detective build”? I loved your Batman video but it didn’t have nearly enough detective-ness for me!
Fandoms_Unite, for me, it would be a mix of knowledge cleric and Inquisitive rogue, likely with 15 starting wisdom, and probably variant human to get to 16 plus observant feat (increase int with the increase from this).
Probably take cleric 17, rogue 3, mainly so cleric still gets 17th level ability without losing anything too powerful.
For cantrips prolly take guidance, light and one of the damaging cantrips.
Put expertise from rogue into perception/insight/investigation, and later on after increasing wisdom and intelligence, take prodigy and put expertise in one of the other skills you did not earlier. Overall starting stats before race mods prolly str8, dex13, con12, int 15, wis15, cha10.
Buff wis to 20 and int to 18, using 2 ½ ASIs, then buff dex using the other half, and take prodigy somewhere in between, for expertise
Final stats without other modifications (magic items mainly):
Str 8, Dex 14, con 12, Int 18, Wis 20, Cha 10
Proficient skills at lvl 20: (skills with a slash indicate with/without expertise.
Perception +17/11, Investigation +16/10, Insight +17/11, Blessing of Knowledge skills (nature, history etc.) +16, prodigy/rogue skill (one was used for investigation) +10 or +11 if one of remaining int/wisdom skills were taken, +8 if dex skill, +6 if cha skill (note. Str is dump stat, do not take athletics)
Also thieves tools + 1 other tool proficiency, as well as 2 choosable languages + common
Combat will likely be cantrips or dagger + shield with best medium armor available, for up to 19 AC without magic items or 21 with shield of faith.
This is just something I came up with in 10 minutes, so not entirely thought out, if you see any errors or see any areas for improvement, please say so.
Mmhm, maybe a Sherlock Holmes character?
Maybe an L build?

I'm hoping we get to see a Nightwing build I was thinking of a multi-class build combining Monk and Ranger. Monk because Dick in the comics is known as the DC Universe's number 1 acrobat and one of the top martial artists in the DC Universe along with a staff or Escrima Sticks as his main weapon plus with advancement into the Path of Shadow you can keep Dick's mastery of Ninjutsu with various stealth bonuses and giving him a bonus to projectile weapons like throwing knives which could be the DnD equivalent of his Wing-Dings, and then the Ranger class to keep in line with the fact that Dick is a good detective and tracker while gaining more bonuses for projectile use, and Favored Terrain with a terrain choice of either cities or villages due to the fact Dick usually operates in Gotham City and Bludhaven, and finally Preferred Target with the target choice being either humans, or humanoid type enemies due to the types of villains Nightwing usually fights.
As an avid DM and fellow anime watcher I was glad to see a jojo character build for dnd. However I was disapointed the three most likely candidates, being hamon users or stand users avdol and polneraff. Though I am very curious and hoping to see hisoka from hunter x hunter or escanor / fairy king from the seven deadly sins make their dnd build debut on this channel. Here's hoping this message gets reseved and considered in the next episodes
Master Chief next!
Question: Can you build a Yautja, aka The Predator? I have my own build, but I'd like to see your take on the galaxy's best/worst hunter.
Awesome work! Do Fate Gilgamesh please :O
I love Storm, so this is a treat.
By the way, if you read it, I mentioned I had a few more character ideas for a D&D build. If you’re interested, hit read more.
Takkar from Far Cry Primal, and Simon Belmont from Castlevania. And if you’d like, maybe Shredder from TMNT. (Second one inspired by Puffin Forest: Attack at the School)
hey i thought a scarecrow D&D build would be pretty cool
