This was great! Thanks so much, its a pleasure doing business with ya :)
Since you haven't put the netting over the top yet, might I suggest that you put a cut off 2 liter bottle bottom over the post in the center. We had it over our garden and the sharp edges of the posts cut right through the netting in no time.
You know where your chicks came from and that they’re healthy...that’s always a good thing.. good luck with them all..
Jeff is such a wonderful guy.He is the chicken master for sure.So happy for y’all.God Bless
RECOMMEND mulch in the chicken yard, and 4x4 size logs or post along the bottom of the fence inside, it slows the chickens from digging by the fence and other critters digging into the run as well.
I love having baby chicks!!! They are just as cute full grown as the chicks!!! Especially when a hen laches on to you & follows you everywhere when you are outside!!! 🐓 💜
Love watching children learning about new life whether it's baby animals or seedlings coming up out of the dirt. Black copper marons usually don't get picked up by hawks because the hawks think they are black crows that chase them. Have to watch out for the lighter colored ones.
I’ve got the silliest grin on my face watching your babies they are so sweet 👍😊
I am so excited for you guys. I remember when I got my first chickens, and I just fell in love with them. I used to take a stool in with me and just sit in the middle of the coop and just pet them as they came by, and they all came to know me and allowed me to be part of their little flock. I had so many eggs I had to give some of them away to my neighbors. 😁
I love my “chicken nipple” waterers. Water stays clean. And you can make them yourself by drilling small holes in a food grade bucket. They are cheap to buy on line.
Thank you for the great heads up.
We got baby chicks at the thick of the pandemic. It made teleworking much more bearable. And now they are big beautiful.prpductive hens, they come running when we open the drapes. They surround you in the yard, not just for food but also for pets. They are wonderful! Enjoy!!
I love chickens. We always kept British Rare Breeds, and I wish I could have some again, alas, my property is a rental, so it's not possible. So I'm enjoying living vicariously through you guys. 😊
Oh my gosh guys I'm so excited for you all. So cute. Jeff thank you for all your knowing helping us learn more about egg to egg. This has been very cool.😍😍😍
Guys guys this is got to be the best chicken beginner video. I watched all the vidoes 2 years ago and wasted alot of money even lost alot of chickens. So glad your doing this series
Love,Love,Love the baby chicks!Y’all were well prepared with Jeff’s help
& I agree he has some fine chicks!EXCITING to see Wyatt’s interest in them too!
HAPPY that we get to see them raised on the 41.36!
MUCH Love & Respect!!!
💙❤️💙
This is fun to follow along. They are SO cute! I know they won't be little for long. Can't wait to see more of the chicken saga! :)
Congrats on your new flock. Jeff did good.
How darling all those chicks are for sure and a great friend for teaching you all about chickens and also bringing some as gifts wow. Enjoy them all they are so darling and pretty for sure. God's blessings to you all.
My Thanks & Appreciation to Roxanne 🌼, Ant, Wyatt & Jeff for another Excellent and educational Egg to Egg Video.
Congratulations on filling the Clucker dome with 🐥🐤chicks. You have the best variety in my opinion. I've owned happy healthy back yard birds for years. That being said, I am no Master like Jeff. I have learned so much from @Bobblehead Homestead through this series. Jeff's wisdom, knowledge and skill has taught me to be a Better keeper of chickens. Thank You again for this Egg to Egg series.🌸Tracy
Loved that response from Wyatt about helping clean up.
He's so cute .
Good luck with the chickens.
Jeff @Bobblehead Homestead is the Chicken Master! What a huge help he was with getting you set up for chickens. 🐥
Wyatt looks a lot like his momma such a cutie 😊
Mr Jeff is a great expert on chickens. You got a variety and that's good. You will have homegrown eggs coming out of your ears. The start of your animal farm. You all have come a long way toward your goal. Blessings!
Awesome start to a new adventure! Thanks to Jeff, for sharing his time and knowledge with the startup items, and hatching out some cool healthy looking chick's! Love what you're doing ❤️
Love Baby Chicks 🐣🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥
There's nothing like raising your on chickens we had them when I was a little girl and I still love them to this day.i remember sitting in the coupe and letting the chick's and adult chickens roost on me and petting them until they fell asleep
Looking forward to seeing the chickens grow and the knowledge you will learn.
Baby chicks! Woohoo, congratulations guys.
I just love this video! It's so good to have someone like your friend to take you and help you pick out what you need and to help guide you in raising your chicks. That is remarkable! I love those baby chicks! I'm so happy for y'all! I'll be waiting and watching in Paris Tennessee with lots of love to see more more!
for the nesting boxe flashing you can put a thin rubber matt in the corner along there
Refreshing the bedding, you will need more than one bale of shavings… I’d also suggest a container for storing your feed, So you don’t end up with rodents in it. Metal trash cans or 55 gal drums with lids are 2 options. Rats will eat the baby chicks… so don’t attract them with open available feed.
Baby chicks don’t need to come outside right away.
Sustainability on the way! 🐤🐤🐤🐣🐣🐥🐥🐥🐥🐣🐤🐤🐤👀😎👍
Dawns here ☀️
We use the warming plate. I think it's a personal preference. Just use a lot.of caution with the heating lamp. Have fun with the birds. Chickens are the gateway farm animal.
Nice to see your little chickies in your clucker dome! Good that you have someone to help you thru the initial process of choosing needed equipment like feeders, watering bottles, heat lamps, bedding, etc. Hope it goes well with you, as these little chicks will grow to be a food source for your family.
Love Jeff in his party shirt. Thanks for sharing the adventure.
Oh my. How cute.
For sure! Your coop is a chicken condo and huge. The hens are going to be happy.
like all you baby chicks and you sharing them with us cant wait to watch them grow up
So happy you got your chicks! They are beautiful birds! 💖
The baby chicks are so cute.
The baby chics are so cute nice colours they are going to be very happy in their Clucker Dome ❤️❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Thanks!
Baby chicks are so cute.
Our new babies are about a month old were getting ready for our meat birds next This is very exciting to Vancel and Alina there learning it takes me back to my childhood days on the farm
Good luck with your flock and God Bless
I see he still hasn't moved into his new place yet .I use to watch him..baby chicks are so cute .your son is so cute and smart..
Cute cute cute
We add apple cider vinegar to our water to help keep chickens healthy
I'm going to bobble heads channel.
Can't wait to get my own chickens
I love the heat plates. Will go back to the light again. Chicks drown easily. fill with rocks or marbles when small.
Add a small amount of apple cider vinegar to the water to give the chicks a good start.
congrats guys! The fun begins!
LOL, video highest light. Wyatt's face change when he heard 'chicken poop' !!! He went from 60 to 0 instantly.
Awesome raising chickens for eggs and meat everyone should learn how. You'll need a separate coop and run for meat ones. You will enjoy fresh eggs. Have fun alot to learn.
You can add marbles or small river rocks to your waterers. that way your chicks can not drown or get stuck in the slick trays.
Congrats to the new parents! I know that 2 are twins and 3 are triplets but I have no idea what you call 33 lol I guess you call it a flock. You are learning from a master. Jeff, I'm sure will guide you through the whole process. Hugs to Y'all Ü
Aw, baby chicks are so adorable! Great video you all🙂
Love the baby chicks!!
Put a splash of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR in their water every time you fill up the water bucket. It’s good for them! 🌹
Exciting!
Holly cow, Your going to be over run with eggs when they start laying. Great flock! We have 5 kinds, ones a breeding meat bird, we are getting 3 dozen a day. Look up all different ways to save eggs, choose best choice for your storage ability. Happy chicken watching!
Looking so good around there
I put river rocks on my waters to keep the chicks and turkeys dry. But clean water.
Thanks for sharing your cute chicks they have a castle God Bless
Awesome yall I'm happy for ya chickens are great and fun and always great to have amazing friends
Wow. Chickens are coming!! Love this.
Congratulations! Eggs by fall! And you could butcher some too! Don't tell Jeff he might get upset! He's such a good chicken daddy!
So exciting. Learned a lot this episode from Jeff. Can't wait for the updates.
Cute chicks, best of luck babies and to the family too👍❤️🇺🇸🙏
The heat plate is great choice. My neighbor lost their coop and 30 chickens to a heat bulb. I’ll clean the poop off the top no problem.
So cute.😀
The chick's all look great. 👌
The babies are so cute
They are so beautiful
I'm so excited for you , can't wait to see the baby chicks!!!!
I am so excited for your new chickens.
Real soon Whited will be the only one that can get near the chickens.
Wow ! I had no idea Jeff was that tall !!
So exciting to get baby chicks! We even put a block of wood under our water until tall enough to use hanging one. Once they are bigger you can us nipples. If you put a big stick in they will crawl up on that even as tiny littles. Wow, Wyatt is getting tall! Do you have a garden rake? It will be so handy. Hello Bobblehead!
Fine looking chicks, awesome coop! You are so in business 🐣🐣🐣🐣🥂
Aw they are so 😍 cute
Coop looks great 👍 glad you’re using the brooder. They are so much better than heat lamps. Chicks do really well with them
How cool...you took me back our chickens and ducks ...I was always working as mom’s assistant 🥰🤗 ....but I hated when she killed the chickens for meals ...not all of them, sum where for having the babies and eggs, and some for food eating ...but I grew up with a large nice place them....wow...memories of my youth and and how wonderful mom was with them ...you will feel the same...we never had to buy food...only milk and meat whenever, rarely, milk for sure ...in the military base the milk and meat 🥩 was way cheaper because it was from the base farm..so eating was pretty easy...always delicious 😋
Really appreciate all the 'hands on' info. So many details to know.
Could you please mention what the different types are AND their attributes?
Are the Copper Morans more for egg laying or meat birds?
Hatchery sites are a great source of information in all things chicken's!
That’s a really nice Tractor Supply Store.. Those coops are ridiculous what they cost.. if a person can build their own they’re better off and save a lot of money..
I would use the hutch as a brooder for the first batch. Once they feather out its safe to use their yard. If you get more chicks at a later date you may want to build a separate brooder. Wow that's a lot of chicks to start with. When I was young we raised lots of chickens, ducks, rabbits and 5 horses. In Las Vegas. We built the rabbit hutches with a closed ramp to a underground box to survive Vegas heat. At 10 and up it was my job to process the rabbits. I even got $1. Each to process a neighbors rabbits. Fun memories.
The place is really looking good. Impressive build..
I Love thhat you guys share all the chicken stuff and I love hearing all Jeffs knowledge of chickens thank you
.... Thnx for the education as well. Looks like a little learning curve. You got this. Many Blessings.
Wow! 33!! Lol...gonna have to expand the outside area. Sooooo cute!
So excited for you guys! can't wait to see them in your coop! Jeff knows his stuff!
You are officially homesteaders now. ♥️
Your coop looks so much better.

Those babie chickens are so cute 🐥🐤😊❤👋🏻
Got to visit with you both last night at SDF! Hope to catch up again today! So enjoyed our visit!
Noticed that this was filmed a few days back as only the posts for laundry and back deck are in place and you have accomplished much, much more since Jeff delivered chicks! Everything you have done on your homestead looks great! Continued best wishes and blessings!
Wonderful. So happy your Chicks have come home. It brought back some good memories forme when I got my first Chicks. You will definitely enjoy them. Blessings.
Jeff your great.Love the chicks
Way to cute 🥰
Wyatt ...you'll grow to love the chickens......😁😁
I prefer straw I’ve the pads in the nesting box.. it’s cheaper and you can control the amount you put in there.. some of our chickens don’t like a lot of bedding 🤷🏼♀️
Awwwww I’ve never seen them in the incubator ❤️🐔 how tiny
those baby 🐥 are so cute 😍 thank you for sharing 💕
Congrats on getting your baby chicks! You are gonna love having chickens!
