Chopping with the green team | *NEW* John Deere 8400i SPFH | 6190R & 6830

Last autumn we caught up with the all new 8000 series John Deere SPFH when it was being launched during the ongoing maize campaign. This time we find a brand new 8400i chopping second cut grass for a dairy farm in Groningen, The Netherlands. On the front is a Kemper 639 pick-up. The SPFH is a demo machine from dealer Groenoord and trialled by contractor Wieringa & Buitenkamp Roodeschool. A JD 6830 & 6190R are using Veenhuis silage trailers to cart the crop back to the farm. On the clamp is a Volvo loader with Holaras silage spreader.
