It shows the life I wish I had - not the one that I lived...I think I'd be happy to give any years I have left in this life to the people depicted in this song. I look back and the last 55 years seem wasted breath, and the future looks like more of the same...
Saw them in concert here in Portland...Nate is charismatic and just as good live (or better) than on CD. I didn't think my love for fun. could grow, but it has.
THIS is the Fun. I know. Before all the auto-tune and pop fluff. I still listen to Aim and Ignite like it's new. I ADORE Nate, Jack, and Andrew; they embodied the classic sound of Queen and new age theatrical lyric-driven music. I can't wait until they go back to THIS.

Amazing band. This song, from the "Aim & Ignite" CD that came out in 2009 is why fun. will just get better and better. Superb songwriting, vocals and keyboards/guitar. If you can make music like THAT in front of the mixing board and NOT on the other side of the glass where the acoustics make everything better... you're NOT a flash in the pan.
Why is everyone complaining about auto tune in their songs when they've only used it in one song and it was only put in there for one part not thoughout the whole song

Almost every time i hear this song i cry but its always a happy cry :) Nates mom MUST have been an amazing woman since Nate talks about her so much in his music. Its a shame that she had to go so early but she will ALWAYS be alive in there music.

When he says "so we moved to Arizona to save our only son" it was bc Nate had bad pneumonia when he was a kid so they had to move to Arizona
