Hey guys, the app mentioned is called Hwahae and it's available on apple and android! It's mostly in Korean but it's totally helpful for ingredients list (in English) I did a tutorial on Hwahae in my January favorites, check it out here ruclips.net/video/Z4AmLN6aXcc/видео.html
You're so articulate. This is why I love your video, a 22 mins video for just 3 items. Your reviews are always so indept and informative. Hope you are safe and sound Kelly.
Waiting on the water bomb cream and essence to be delivered. I cannot believe that this is the 2nd video I've watched where you have reviewed something I have already purchased or was thinking about purchasing. Keep up the fantastic work!!
I was looking up Bonajour's waterbomb after randomly finding it on Amazon, in here while not expecting it to show up. Coincidentally, I'm waiting for my curology product coming in which will contain 0.01% tretinoin, 2% azelaic acid and 4% niacinamide. So, I was happy to hear you mention that you're a tretinoin user. Thank you for posting!
Thank you for such a thorough analysis of the Quad Boosting Essence! It was nice to know what each ingredient is actually doing to my skin! First day trying it out - we’ll see how it goes! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Do you have a favorite top 3 or 5 KBeauty websites in terms of shipping length, variety, new releases and pricing? I’m just now getting into KBeauty and I’m a new subscriber.
I mostly use Yesstyle, Jolse and Wishtrend (usually in that order). Ohlolly and Olive Kollection are awesome stateside boutiques with fast shipping (in US).
I really am interested to try the bonajour green tea water bomb. And i thought i will like it cause it says water bomb. But thanjs for clarifying and saying its actually greasy to an extent. I have pretty oily skin so this is a nono for me. Thanks😂
I am so ordering the first product, it sounds very interesting indeed. I have stepped up my retinol and going into winter so I will be needing all the help I can get. I picked up the serum and I really enjoyed it so far, I'm using it with the cosrx propolis toner and is a great combo. I repurchased the Missha artemisia toner and ended up picking up the artemisia pack that has a small toner, small ampoule and the cream. Looking forward to trying them out.
Ooo you'll have to tell me how you end up liking the missha artemisia ampoule and cream! The wishtrend essence has been wonderful, definitely recommend!
Love all of your videos!! So informative. Also, I am just now putting together that my seasonal flares in allergies AND breakouts could be related 😅 So beneficial.. need all the calming of inflammation for when these issues pop up 🥰
Oh boy thanks to your channel I've fallen down the K-Beauty rabbit hole... Ever since your video about propolis I started using Skinfood and it has made me GLOW! Not annoyingly but I noticed myself. Thanks!
I've been using the missha artemisia essence for about a month now, so I have a fully formed opinion now. For background I have mild rosacea and eczema with super dry/dehydrated and maturing skin. I'm also on my tretinoin journey and have been for about nine months so REALLY DRY/SENSITIVE. First off don't splash it near your eyes as it stings, but it doesn't nip on my facial skin. I use it at night as a first essence and the neogen in the morning. I layer pyunkang yul and laneige cream skin over it for deep hydration/moisture, followed by a niacinamide serum, moisturiser, tretinoin and sleeping pack. I don't find the artemisia essence to be hydrating, but it does seem soothing. It hasn't caused any issues under the tretinoin, but it isn't as calming as I had hoped. I find centella or associated compounds reduces redness for me much quicker and provides more hydration. I like it and am glad I tried it on offer, but I'm not sure if it will be a repurchase for me. I wouldn't have tried it without your excellent review and am glad I did. This K beauty journey will always be a bit of trial and error and this wasn't an error, but neither was it a massive win. It's fine - i like it ok, but it's not a holy grail. The Laneige cream skin on the other hand is and you were the one who persuaded me to try it. I'm going to try something different next time, but I will definately finish the artemesia first. I now know centella works better for me than mugwort/artemesia and can make informed purchases going forward. Be well and best wishes.
Hi Kelly! I'm such a fan! Thank you for helping me get through this quarantine. Also, what's the app you've mentioned in this video? Again, thank you so much! Much love!
Kelly do you prefere using vitamin C serums? It would be great to hear your recommendations for sensitive dry skin! :) Btw. I used the Bonajour cream last summer and it was a perfect summer high temperatures moisturizer. Because of you recommending it, I bought the IOPE Cica cream and the Purito sunscreen. Can't wait to try them out. Tnx a lot for your hard work!
Yay, I hope you enjoy them! Vit C is tricky, the one I really liked was the Klairs vit c but it has essential oils in it, haven't found another that I like as much.
When i used some vitamin c i had like little pimples everywhere the next day Is it normal to purge from vitamin c? I get cystic acne but i never get small little pimples like that
I am not sure, but to me it sounds like it was some kind of allergic reaction. Sry to hear your skin reacted like this :/ I experienced the same with Secret Key First treatment essence.
I’ve been trying out the rovectin clean lha blemish ampoule as my exfoliant and I really like it since it gentle but helps with texture. Also would the green tea water bomb make a good product for over the top dewy makeup?
Hi Kelly I've been watching alot of Hyram and James Welsh which then brought me to your channel. And i am so wanting to get onto the K beauty road for my skincare. I'm combination skin i have an oily Tzone but i find its gets so dehydrated very easily espically my nose and mouth and chin area as my skin flakes alot in those area's What product's could you recommend for me? Im from the UK 🇬🇧 by the way 😁👋 P.s love your knowledge on ingredients in products and how indepth you go. I used to do beauty therapy at college I've always loved the science of skincare and art side with makeup 🥰 Luv Carleen
I just got the water bomb for one of my summer nighttime moisturizers. I am sensitive, combo/oily, but dehydrated. My skin is very complicated. Do you think it will work for me?
Hi Kelly, would you consider reviewing NEOGEN - Surmedic Azulene Soothing Pepthide Ampoule? I have recently ordered this because I was quite impressed by the ingredient list - ten kinds of peptides, azulene and centella asiatica complex... I would love to know your thoughts on this product! Thanks! :)

I've been trying the Some by My snail truecica line because I have some really stubborn acne scars. So far my skin REALLY likes snail. I got the Klavuu sea silt cream and I'm not too sure about it, it kind of makes my (combo) skin feel oddly matte. Really wanting to order and try the new I'm From fig essence but budgeting!!
I am new to your channel (and love it, btw!), so you might have covered this in a previous video... But where does an emulsion fit into a skincare routine? How is it different from a toner or light lotion?
I wanna try the Bonjour eggplant bha cream! But that water bomb one looks juicy as well. My skin is dry n dehydrated so i need all the moisturization i can get, and i like more rich creams with nutrition EDIT: ohh and their Elf cream looks soooooo tempting with the fermented ingredients 🌸🌸
I wonder... how does the Scinic Toner compare to the Hado Labo Gokyujun Premium toner? Because while I loved the Hado Labo toner initially and its definitely hydrating (with all those different types of hyaluronic acids it boasts), I think similar to the Scinic it's just not hydrating enough considering it's texture.
Hey Kelly ! I boughg the Stay Cool toner from yesstyle (due to corona it took like 3 weeks to arrive). I don't know if smth happened to the bottle/formula in transit or not, but it totally dried my skin and quite badly irittated it. All other products u recommended are absolutely great 😊 i just wanted to text you about it so u know
Heyyyy this is a question for anyone who can answer: is salicylic acid drying?? I use the Paulas choice 2% one every other day and whenever I use it I can never make it until the end of the day without feeling tight/dry. I know that it's really good so it must the the BHA. I have the Some By Mi 30 miracle cream arriving soon (ordered ages ago), so will this be ok? My skin is acne prone but on the dry side so could I use it every day? Basically I will be making a switch to this product as my only exfoliation, and I want to know if I will be OK using it every night. Cheers, I know this question does not relate to the video. I came here from the James Welsh vid and I love this channel.
Yes bha can be drying. I’ve heard rave reviews about the miracle cream, just using any facial moisturizer until it comes in or take a break from the bha until your cream comes in. Chemical exfoliant should only be used 2/3 times a week. Good On you for switching to that instead of physical exfoliation. The nights you don’t use bha using a good cleanser and your fingertips should be enough to get your face clean and fingertips can gently exfoliate quite well
I use it and it it suits my skin if I use it 3 times per week. Over exfoliating is the most common mistake we’ve all made. Scale back a bit and see if you can find your sweet spot, and be sure to take care of your skin barrier (cleansing, hydrating, moisturizing to prevent water loss). And sunscreen 😎
hey kelly, do u think the heimish green clean suits oily and dehydrated skin? and do u have any moisturizer recommendations for the same skin type but in a hot country?
Heimish cleanser will work for all skin types I think, especially dehydrated! Moisturizers are always tricky, I like the soon Jung cream, they also have a hydro cream that might be worth looking into.
Hi Kelly. New subscriber here! I've been loving your videos and am learning a lot. I have not seen/found a video with pimple spot treatment recommendations...do you have any suggestions besides pimple patches? Thank you
"Mary Poppins is the best" Hi Kelly, how do you feel about Neogen pore tight mousse? Could you please review this product for us? It's very popular on TikTok so I wanted to know you're advice and opinion on this one! Keep safe
Thank you for the deep dive! Especially for on the water cream! It’s has been in and out of my cart at yesstyle for a minute! I’m LOVING the missha artemisia essence mist. The weather has gotten so warm and humid down here in Texas, and this is going to be clutch in the summer. Love your channel
I know your question is from months ago, and you may have found what you’re looking for, but if not 😆, Clinique Take the Day Off balm is fragrance free. Also, Pond’s Cold Cream now has a fragrance free balm, as well.
The By Wishtrend Quad Active Boosting Essence has been on my "to buy list" but there's been those few things that I've wondered about it, that you pointed out. So thanks for the great review, it was really helpful. (◕‿◕✿)
