  • This is a brief video on how to change the downstream oxygen sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) on a Chevy Malibu (year 2008-2012). Only tools needed are a jack, jack stand and adjustable wrench. Part is available for decent price in the autopart store, but I would also recommend Rockauto.com for a discounted price

    Thanks haven’t been able to pass smog because of codes caused my old sensors. This helped a ton.

    I must note, if the oxygen sensor does not fix this code you will either need to try a O2 sensor defouler, or to replace the catalytic converter. Either option may help turn this code off
