    love the heli! wonderful and explained review! This review is worth 1000 times more than the youtubers promoting these helis raving about them, but not giving detailed specifications... is it possible to connect an independent receiver and variator? like a flysky?
    Do you think the heli ESC will last more than 60 flights without burning out or failing?
    greetings

      Frankly I don't think this one has the stamina that the Blackhawk and Coast Guard helicopters have. I had done several flights on the F06 EC135. Then one day it just took off and went out of control and crashed. I always do preflights and saw nothing wrong. I think something in the electronics failed. I have been going back and forth with the Chinese company and I'm getting no where. If you buy this, don't get it directly from china. Their customer service is basically nothing.
      My Blackhawk and Coast Guard helis still work fine.

      It's a little cheaper than when it started but could come down a bit more.

      They are basically the same helicopter just different branding. Same controller, same body but different color. Same functions.

      The open source community hasn't reverse engineered the new Yu Xiang protocol yet. It's a whole new proprietary system. But Yu Xiang now offers a replacement board. You can turn this into S-FHSS that will work with the Radiomaster for about $30 and toss that transmitter in the trash, where it belongs.

    • @LoveRC
      @LoveRC  10 месяцев назад +2

      @@RARenfield I’ll have to look for that.

    I really like the modern-day scale helis with features such as optical flow and GPS, but the controller on this one will probably keep me from buying one. Seems like it sits between the eachine E120 and F09 feature-wise and I already have those two.

    • @LoveRC
      @LoveRC  10 месяцев назад +2

      Totally agree. The controller is a big concern. It feels very mushy.

    • @RARenfield
      @RARenfield 10 месяцев назад +2

      One insider reports that Yu Xiang is working on an accessory board that will support S-FHSS and 3D/6G.

    I KNOW IT'S A UGLY LOOKING CONTROLLER BUT YOU GONNA CARE LESS ONCE YOUR UP FLYING THIS HELLI YOU WON'T EVEN THINK OF IT ANYMORE THE MAIN THING IS THAT IT FLYS WELL AND GOOD & STABLE & GOOD SCALE LOOKS IS MOST IMPORTANT 💯

    • @LoveRC

      It doesn't bother me. It's just not as good as the previous offerings and you can not use a DSMX or Radiomaster etc.

      Lots of pilots prefer to be able to run all of their models from one remote: less to carry around, and consistent "feel", location, and response of the controls.

      @@jonspikes4935 One cool thing is you can use the coast guard remote with the F06. Just bind and go. You of course have to bind it back to the Coast Guard heli when you want to use it. But it's easy. The coast guard remote is way better.
