I love this pattern! I’ve made it twice now. The second time I increased the bobble sizes from 3 stitch rows to 9 stitch rows, back down to 3 so there is an ombré effect of bobble sizes and I love it!

Your videos are so informative and thorough! The repetition really helps slow learners like myself. It means I don't have to keep going back to find out how to do something again...I like the way you repeat 4-5 times. Thank You!

Thank you for the wonderful instructions! You’re such a thoughtful teacher. This was a great project for a beginner that taught me new skills and produced an item that will be a beautiful gift.
This project took me a long time as I’m recovering from a brain injury. Whenever I had to take long breaks and relearn the pattern, your clear instructions helped me to pick it back up again and were great rehab for my mind and fingers.

I'm in a similar situation. I used a different yarn and I think some yarns might be more forgiving than others. I'm testing out this pattern and a beginner knitter. The problem I keep running into is when I purl the last stitch on the row, I end up with an extra stitch on my next row every time. I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly...but my purl fro some reason seems to be adding 2 stitches, so the edge is getting bulky. Any suggestions?

Davina! Thank you so much for your clear instructions and tips. I am using an super bulky yarn for a large blanket. After knitting a 5-stitch bobble, I find that a loop of yarn on top of the bobble is a bit loose (can fit a fingertip underneath it). This is despite me tightening the stitches when switching from plain to purl, as you explain. Is this a tension problem during reducing stitches? Any advice?
