Awesome, can't wait to watch others! Not that I haven't enjoyed all of your gear reviews, storytelling, and just conversations about life in general, but it was really great to watch unedited and behind-the-scenes action and footage that you leave out to fine-tune your videos for the subscribers and potential new ones! Thanks Luke!
Luke, looks like you ran into a ice storm on the way out, we get these regularly in East country out here in Gresham, almost every winter, along with high winds. Sometimes knocks out our power too. The ice can get pretty thick too. Wind chils can go as low as -20 from time to time. We have to keep our water running to keep our pipes from freezing too. Winter can be a real adventure! We get along okay if a person is prepared. Been living out here for 50 years, so very used to it now. Looks like you are always well prepared for everything, and this is good! You are my kind of guy! Blessings to you and to Susie from Gresham Oregon, Michelle Reed
Thanks for new channel man im in new career driving semi truck and stay with a trainer in a truck for months and dont want him to hear all my youtube videos so this Chanel is perfect for me helps lift my mood from being away from my family without bothering my trainer
Look after yourself Aaron, have some goals and dreams, keep them to yourself, be careful who you trust, stay healthy and workout if you can it will keep you well in the long run. Save your money when you can and if something doesn't feel right, a situation, a place or a person then keep your wits about you but please be careful who you trust and have a plan for your future, all the best in all that you do and take care
Hi Luke. I miss your commentary......the stories & jokes and all about the weather. Hi to Susie. Happy trails to you both (like Roy Rogers and Dale Evans would say......
6:13; when I saw the foil pack of Real Turmat I knew you were going to enjoy a tasty, nutritious, satisfying meal. 8:34; had to look at "Description" to see which make/model tent you pitched 9:52; a Ferro Rod/Striker & a nice freshly shaved wood tinder pile, my own personal preferred method of starting a fire or ignition my Soto Windmaster stove. Gotta know when to "Hold 'em" & when to "Fold 'em". Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada
I gotta ask did you leave that brokem tent behind?? It would have made me so mad failing like that. .,i would have left it for shelter for the animals lol !!!
Dear Luke...think I like you as the chatty man better...but these are wonderful also...thank you for getting out in the elements..while most of us are toastie while watching you....beautiful videos...love and light..Sand.
Looks like the tent sprung a leak lol - i hate driving on icy roads - im glad u didn't put that pretty truck in the ditch or off the road - stay safe Luke
Here in New England we hear someone talk about having 4wd if they hit ice We usually reply, you'd better stay home then because when it comes to ice, 4wd is helpful but only if your vehicle is also equipped with 4ws (4 wheel STOP)
I'm surprised you used a Naturehike tent. If a storm was coming. I have one. And I would tarp it. In good weather. Lol. Cheers Luke. Thanks for the video.
Just letting you know.... On my TV, using the TIVO RUclips APP. The text you placed on the very bottom edge is 90% clipped off and unreadable. Probably either the TIVO app or the way my TV displays it. Using the EDGE browser on my laptop and watching the same video, the text on the bottom edge in the video displays just fine. Love your videos!
This was like one of those foreign bushcraft posts where not a word is spoken, (or You Tube might have censored it for language ) The tent is one that should be advertised for cheap on E*Bay as a kids backyard sunny daytime play tent.
I grew up in a semi tropical climate in Australia and have seen snow, up close, only about 10 times in my life. I have lived in the Himalayan foothills, do-able freezing but below the normal snow line, but always leg it if there is even sleet. Because snow, without fault, makes me fall down. There are 2 words that terrify me. Black Ice. I have only been caught driving in the snow once. Unexpected snow. A one hour trip took me four, and my knuckles were as white as the surrounding ground. I was terrified. If I had hit ice I wouldn't have known diddly squat about what to do. Lose me on a tropical island, or even in the Australian bush and I have a fighting chance. Lose me in the snow and I may as well just get in the fetal position and die. So it's awesome, in the literal sense, to watch people who know freezing climates, braving the elements.
The one channel you can't stop talking. This one you don't say a word......😂😂 funny. Will all the episodes on this channel be like that, (no talking) ?
Another enjoyable quiet episode and one where you didn't get to stay long - another faulty tent? Hope you got out safely and slowly. Looking forward to the next one!
You definitely have some weather down there in NC. I thought it was here in NE where all the unpredictable weather called home. Tks for the adventure Luke!
OK this puzzled me a bit, but why leave the tent in the rain and get more wet then if you adjusted your circumstances. You the man Luke so please do tell, also good knowledge of the forest voices..
Scandinavian food, Japanese stove and tuck, most everything worked except the tent...wonder where it was made?🤣 I wouldn't trust the rain cover for the pack either... Thanks for the work.
Ive been a subscriber with you for several years, but this quiet video is not quite as interesting. Down here in Alabama its still in 80, 90 and 65 - 75 at night. Good work and realize our cold weather is coming.
Real Turmat Meals are made in Norway & are hard to come by in America. I suspect someone sent those meals to Luke. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.
Luke, could you put your comments higher on the picture ? - we can only see 1/2 of each one because they are posted at the very bottom so are NOT readable.. We assumed you left because the tent leaked..
It really is his channel. He has created kind of like this sub channel. Still has the original one, Where he talks like normal. He just created this ASMR Channel for people that want to just hear nature sounds.
I love these videos, they’re so calm and relaxing. It would be nice if you brought Susie along on one of these. Maybe you two can say good night. You are really outdo yourself with these. Kathy

Fantastic job recreating this episode to an ASMR video. I will come watch these but I just miss hearing you and all your stories and Letting us know what is going on. I remember this one... I think it was from last winter? Scary walk out And drive down I would imagine. Thanks Luke!
It's great not having to hear you bragging about your kids all the time, and you telling us that you're the expert on every subject; keep it quiet, dude! 😶Don't forget to rub your hands together for the show! LOL 😆
Finally! No talking. Great vid!!
Love the silence

I enjoyed watching this while enjoying my cup of noodles during lunch. Thanks

Freezing rain is the worst! Scary! Terrible that the tent leaked
Very nice video, Luke! I enjoyed all the different shots and all the hard work it took to make this. Thanks for posting!
I gotta ask did you leave that brokem tent behind?? It would have made me so mad failing like that. .,i would have left it for shelter for the animals lol !!!
I thought the same. Just leave the damn thing! 😄
The video quality, filming and editing is just impeccable! It's just going to take me a minute to get used to you not taking. Still loved it though!
Awesome

I can't believe it the first video i feel asleep of yours 😂

Funny how this is "A Quiet Place Adventures" but the unpacking of the backpack @5:04 is very noisy, I know, I can just turn the vol. down. Nice video.
Can we a link to the original video?
I like the new channel!
Absolutely love this second channel of yours. Thanks so much!!!
love this,, thank you
Hi Luke.. I'd would've left the tent after seeing it leaking. ATB 👍🙏
Luke, you surprised me. Where was your tarp fly?
Good video though. Thank you.
well that was quite an ice storm attack....

Here in New England its good to have 4wd or awd or any wd with dedicated snow tires and studs.

I prefer listening to you!
Good thing your pick-up was close by. I detest a tent that leaks.
Smart to hold the go pro out the window with one hand and drive on icy roads with the other.Safty first who cares about what it looks like.
This was like one of those foreign bushcraft posts where not a word is spoken, (or You Tube might have censored it for language ) The tent is one that should be advertised for cheap on E*Bay as a kids backyard sunny daytime play tent.
A Foreigner song comes to mind, "Cold as Ice."
That was BAD when the tent started leaking! Glad you came out ok!!

Having fun yet.
Hiw far away was your truck
The editing is amazing bro keep it up 🥳
Not sure why but all of these videos I can't read your info below the screen I tried changing settings but all I can ever see is the top of a letter
The one channel you can't stop talking.
This one you don't say a word......😂😂 funny.
Will all the episodes on this channel be like that, (no talking) ?
We can only hope.
That what I miss is you talking
Another enjoyable quiet episode and one where you didn't get to stay long - another faulty tent? Hope you got out safely and slowly. Looking forward to the next one!
What was screaming?
Bobcat
I like it better when you talk
Different but, as usual very entertaining
I thought this show was all about testing in adverse weather conditions? You should be pumped and ready to party!
I've seen you in another adventure during the ice rain, whereby you rescued two men. That was scary.
I like to see gear reviewed. I like to see camping, and tips. ASMR, not so much. One can be reviews, this new one can be camping, talk, tips..
I guess the tent leaked? I have never seen you leave like that unless the tent gave out!
You definitely have some weather down there in NC. I thought it was here in NE where all the unpredictable weather called home. Tks for the adventure Luke!
I like this…..BUT….. I miss you telling us what’s going on…..💖🤫🙋🏻♀️
I would have abandoned the junk tent and departed
❤

What. The. Heck. Was. That. Screaming! 😱

Luke; I like it better when you talk to me and your audience.
