I am 75 yrs old now, your videos bring back so many adventurous memories for me as I was an avid backpacker most my life . Your equipment is so much lighter than what I used. It looks like your are in the Mount Rogers rec area, if so I know the weather up there is so unpredictable and can change rapidly. I love it there and love your videos. Thank you!
A good Kelty Backpack, Good Vibram sole Boots,, A Winterlight 4 season Gortex Tent, 2 Bandanas, baking soda for numerous things, Peak One Backpack stove, Etc. Wish I had had the lightweight nylon tarps with the hook straps. @@ashslaughter1457
The quiet place adventures are a stroke of genius. I greatly enjoy your reviews, tips, bet., the quiet posts are relaxing and beautiful. Lots of work, as usual Thanis
I think the only thing that I see about these videos that they go so fast you don't spend enough time on these videos like you do on your other channel, I am not complaining I'm just mentioning that because I still love this channel😊😊😊
We still want to see what you're eating we still want to see you fixing your lunch or your dinner and just like your other channel I love the sounds that the wind makes of the little stream with water running the birds the wind the rain and you take such a beautiful pictures and I love that, on your other channel that you do your review I don't pay attention to the scenery because I'm listening to you and then I miss the beautiful sounds of the rain and I do appreciate you having this channel I just wanted to say that I do appreciate this channel is great thank you
It's awesome to see and hear footage that you left out of your past Gear Review videos! It creates a whole new side of those adventures and adds more unedited realism!!! Thanks!
I had a bad storm like that pull up the stakes on one side. It was raining hard, so I just hunkered down and rode it out for 30-45 minutes. Once the rain let up, I went out and buried the stakes in the mud and went back to sleep. Rough night but it was kind of fun looking back on it.
Luke, I love both of your channels! So relaxing to watch your adventures. I miss seeing Susie! It must be so tiring to walk so far and move the camera to catch each angle. You do great work!
There is something very soothing in the sounds of nature. It helps to clear a cluttered mind no matter what else is going on. I took a hike today that did just that. Love these videos!
Luke it sad that not to many people not like this video. To me I would like some talking. But silence is great too have a question, how many shoes do you in a year and how many times you go back and forth to shot your video. Thanks so Much for sharing your adventure . Can’t wait to see more ❤
If it were me i'd be stopping to look for fossils all alo g the way! It's a lovely trail. I love Rhododendron country, but you visited the high and low country with the spruces too. Thanks!
I enjoy these style videos.. just curious, how much time is there envolved in moving ur cameras and editing in these videos?.. thanks for your efforts..
See on your other videos on your other channel you will stop and we will see you stopping and getting your lunch ready and on this videos on this channel we see you already eating almost done with your lunch and you know I I cook I love cooking and I love watching people eat because it tells me how good but they're eating is bite me looking at them eating it, and that makes me happy I guess I'm just weird but I like watching people eat it makes me happy
this one was not to good, no words just wind, it seemed very odd that when the wind started you showed nothing until it was over that would have made a good video, man V wind,
Say you need to carry your camera with you. And not walk by at all the time. It's boring, sit there and watch You eat. That's not too cool, sorry, but it is.
Bruh it’s like you ordered a hamburger and then got mad that you got a hamburger…? Literally says this is supposed to be an ASMR style channel. Go on his main channel to see the full videos with talking.

When you were regularly backpacking, what was your favorite equipment?

I am amazed you don't fall or get lost!
Luke, thank you! 🥾🥾
I think the only thing that I see about these videos that they go so fast you don't spend enough time on these videos like you do on your other channel, I am not complaining I'm just mentioning that because I still love this channel😊😊😊
I really like both styles of videos. Any video you do is always good!
The forest is so peaceful. It's good to see unaltered land with the streams and wildlife. I really enjoy all your RUclips episodes.
Awesome video. Thanks Luke. I really like this format.
Great content, but so glad you found your way out.
Nice one Luke👍👍 Keep em' coming.
Wow you really walked through it! Oh and the gate😮
Thanks! This was very enjoyable, loved the crisp images, that wind would have kept me awake all night
Thank you so much for the support, it really means a lot.
Happy Holidays!
- Luke
Man, you have this awesome "I got this" energy in everything you do in this video.
Nice video again Luke ,very calming .
You must spend so many hours in the background of these videos, setting up and tearing down cameras, editing, etc.
Luke your videos are so relaxing love them 😊

Beautiful area almost reminds me of where I live in Washington State.

Got a little bit of sun there eh Luke? Great video as always. Loved the sound of the wind and the Shetland Pony.

Thanks for this blast to the past! Love the quiet videos, especially during Halloween time for some spooky grooves.

Thank you for sharing different equipment with your adventures Luke
We were in the same storm. We were afraid a limb was going to fall on our tent!
If it were me i'd be stopping to look for fossils all alo g the way! It's a lovely trail. I love Rhododendron country, but you visited the high and low country with the spruces too. Thanks!
just learned of your silent channel and im someone who appreciates asmr as i usually dont say much in my videos LOL 👍🤙🤘✊
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY brother and thank you for sharing your adventures
So relaxing
I think that's the first time we ever saw you setting up a camera.
What no fishing bummer
Greyson ponies!! Awesome place
Was it Grayson Highlands?
shared
Awesome video, it has been very windy here in Virginia of late.
I love the hike, apart from the river/stream crossing
How many miles did you walk on the trail?
Wild Ponies in NC too? Thought you were in Grayson Highlands for a minute there!
So much walking up hill. Only half way through your video and im exhausted. I need a nap.
😊❤
Looks like fortcolins or surrounding areas.
I will never again complain about the deer problem. We have in New Jersey. You have horses that run around I thought they stayed by the beach?
Some of those rocks could be valuable
Admit it ! You loved every minute. But the ending...oh no, Luke is lost!
Was there that much rain before you went?
Did you catch the shooting star @ time stamp 16:10
I enjoy these style videos.. just curious, how much time is there envolved in moving ur cameras and editing in these videos?.. thanks for your efforts..
He's like a Hobbit, but with boots on! Lol.
Looks like all the trees have shed all their leaves.
Rookie mistake, not putting big heavy rocks atop each tent stake.
As experienced as you are, you did this to yourself.
I like the finger guns and thumbs up after tasting the food.
There are times when you got that look in your eyes that you want to say something.
U needed longer stakes
Hmmm, doesn't sound like it was a quiet place, kind of windy... :)
All your gear is noisy in a bad way. I liked that animal in the end looked like a horse-cow.
NOT the best tent for an exposed setting under those conditions.
FLIPAO!
A few too many downward shots. Makes me dizzy on the big screen. Less of that POV, please.
this one was not to good, no words just wind, it seemed very odd that when the wind started you showed nothing until it was over that would have made a good video, man V wind,
Love ya man, but never been a fan of the no talking videos.
OK Just curious, but then why are you on a channel devoted specifically to ASMR videos 😅
All the walking ??? No views and very little camping
