- Welcome to our winter camping trip in the wilderness. We brough along our Snowtrekker hot tent and Winnerwell Titanium stove for this trip. We kept really warm in below freezing temps, enjoyed a beautiful night and made a bonfire in the snow. Thanks for coming along, we hope you enjoy the video!!

In Thunder Bay we have had maybe 8" of snow this winter and most of it is gone and had rain this week. We are still using quads as not enough snow for the snow machines. Ice roads and lakes very dangerous here. Yes, no snow makes for a tough slug for sure. Thanks for the video. Fred

Thanks John, it's the most unusual winter I've experienced. Luckily the property is at a higher elevation so it got a bit more snow than at home.
Enjoying the snow vicariously from Ohio. We’ve hardly had any this year. It’s been mostly gray, rainy and dreary here.
Pretty much the same here JustVisiting. Luckily the property is at a higher elevation than home so at least it got some snow.

Good to see you two back at it. The silky saws are awesome. One little tip on those saws. They only cut in one direction when you draw the blade back - not forward. Save some energy. The teeth are angled back to the handle for a reason. Slide the saw ahead without cutting force (prevents risk of bending /snapping blade if u fetch up) and put effort in cutting when you pull back. Some of those 2”-3” spruce branches should cut in 3-5 pulls. Give it a try. ✌🏻

All of the channels I follow that rely on winter camping videos have had a tough time this winter. No matter if USA, Canada, or in Europe, they've had more rain and mild temps.
Yeah, it's been the oddest winter I've experienced by a wide margin.
May I recommend getting a small battery powered chainsaw for clearing the trail? Keep the batteries near your body to make them last longer.

Craziest winter ever. Almost no snow. When I didn't winter camp, I wouldn't have minded. But now I'm still hoping for one good storm. May not happen now that we're in March. Cheers Jim!

Not sure why you chose to drag the sleds over 3 feet tall trees when two feet to your left was clear smooth snow. But then, I'm not "outdoorsy".
😄 It was a miscalculation ....and bit of laziness. I didn't realize how stuck it was. Most times I can just pull through. In the end I used way more energy than just fixing the sled.
Olá Iam, o que acontece com o canal, ficar sem vídeos por mais de um mês não é muito saudável para o canal, neste tempo entre um vídeo e outro você pode perder muitos inscritos, muitos não tem paciência de esperar um mês para ver um vídeo de trinta, quarenta minutos, eu penso assim, se assumiu um compromisso em ter um canal no RUclips e mostrar conteúdos com frequência aos inscritos como o bushcraft praticado por você e a Sandra, acho que esse compromisso tem que ser mantido, é claro que muitos tem canais por mera diversão, faz um vídeo de vez em quando, não assume aquele compromisso de ter que postar vídeos com frequência, mais acho que não é o seu caso, pois acompanho você a muito tempo e antes seus vídeos eram frequentes, não leve este comentário como uma crítica depreciativa, é apenas um desabafo de um inscrito que quer mais vídeos com mais frequência no canal, se vai ter ou não isso é com você, até o próximo vídeo, espero que breve.
