- The first winter camping season stay of the new season. A whole bunch of work was done in this video as Sandra and I spent the night in the stone winter shelter. We also did more work on the A-frame as well as did some major cleanup around camp. The snow falling was beautiful as always and we had a lot of fun over 2 days. Thank you for joining us and I hope you enjoy!

just a suggestion on the bank line when you are tightening it up, use a small piece of wood and wrap the end of it around it then use the wood to pull back on the bank line. will help with the hand not being cut up.
It's good that you have cleaned your surroundings because with the snow it will be more difficult. The shelters have turned out very well, even the toilet. In a short time you did many things.😊
Hello, you two beautiful humans! Thank you for the update. You both work so hard and you do such a great job. Looking forward to the Winter camps and yummy foods. Say hello to Simon.
Nice job and what a beautiful spot. Nice chainsaw. It will make a difference. Thanks for the video and take care, Al
Greetings from Bonnie Scotland! So good to see the tepee up and running again….

The woods look good with the first dusting of snow .Hope you can get LOTS of firewood stored away before the big dumping covers everything . Looking forward to see what you do with the " A " frame shelter > Its always been my favorite . Stay safe . Sudbury Ont .

Hurray a winter camping video!!! This was great! It was funny when you were using the axe on the wood, I could have sworn I heard a dog panting by the camera but then I realized that it was Sandra sawing the wood LMAO!!!
Tired just watching you. Good job! Glad you put Sandra’s lights back up as they look “pretty”. 😘
Even I got cold waiting for that stove to cool off! ❄ Always a treat, you two. 👍🇨🇦😎🔥👌🌲 I vote for Sandra's pretty lights 😂
I really enjoy watching y’all
I love you guys videos thanks so much for sharing 😊
❤❤❤❤!!!
Bet you kids absolutely crashed when you got home🥰 😴😴😴
Good to see everything falling back into place & getting “spruced up” 😁😁
Counting down the days til the next video!😁😁
I thoroughly enjoyed the video. You were busy all weekend clearing and fixing. It looks nice and the A-frame is looking good. Thank you for sharing your adventures.😊
I saw the lights come on in the shelter - NOW THIS IS CAMPING!!! Ha ha ha ! What a beautiful spot you have to camp. Im Jealous! We spend spring , fall and the early winter in Alqonqin park and Schooner Lake. Just like HEAVEN back there! Greetings from Perth Ontario!!
It would make it more comfortable and private if the toilet had a wall around it. Maybe a few branches across the top so out of the falling rain and snow plus blowing wind while answering nature's call. Wouldn't be as much snow to clear off the seat before sitting when in a hurry.
I don't mind the use of the chainsaw when the result is a big stack of firewood.
I am sure the hawks and other predator birds will be happy with any branches left behind for their nest building.
Very nice video. I hope you guys can go back for a more relaxing weekend and enjoy the tent after all the hard work.
What a beautiful and atmospheric presentation my friend!
i know where have good one
Lot’s of hard work.. good that you two have a vision for the campsite, it looks great!

Good evening from Syracuse NY USA brother and everyone else thank you for sharing your adventures
Merry Christmas to you and your wife.
I just love your channel. It’s so interesting to watch. The shelters are looking really good. Just please stay safe and well you two (Mike, that climb on the A-frame looked a bit scary to me). Looking forward to winter adventures!
Hi guys!😊🌲🌨❄☃️
and another awesome video! Thanks!
a lot of work done
Use a pocket knife or a bigger stick to wrap the bank line around so it's not digging into your fingers.
Why would anyone think less of you for using a chainsaw to cut firewood? If they think you should just use a hand saw they can get their own asses out there and help you. Great work on the projects.
I love to watch your videos but do you have a bathroom tent I mean you arent like addressing everytime you go to restroom but in winter I wouldnt want to dig a hole to use the bathroom LOL..
🖐😎👍
Where did u buy those bowls. They look nice and convenient.
😁😁👍👍
Where do you get the tarps for your shelters?
Allo , Allo . Hey Mike, what is that cord. The name.
Hey Gordon, it's called "Tarred Twine Bank Line". Here is the link that I got it from. I got the # 18, maybe the # 36 would the be thicker

Merci Mike.
Late on seeing your vid you're getting ready for snow camping. Hoe it will be more than one day.😊😊
Why would people have a problem with you using a chainsaw?
Your channel is not called I Am Bushcrafty lol
