I remember seeing my mom do these exercises when I was little!! They remind me of the 80s! All she needs are some legwarmers, a bright-colored leotard, a neon belt, and a headband! LOL!
I just wanted to say that I've been doing this for 2 weeks so far and I've noticed a difference after about a week and a half. My form has definitely improved and I continue to participate in this workout 6 times a week. GREAT WORKOUT SparkPeople's!(btw I'm a guy)

I just did the 10 Minute Kickboxing Cardio, the 10 Minute Hips & Thighs work-out, and now this, and wow ... that was pretty intense. I'm looking forward to using these videos! Especially in the winter when I can't run, haha. :) Thank you!
For those ladies who are looking to really round out and plump up the booty, try doing these exercises while wearing ankle weights. :) Definitely adds nice curve to your rump when done consistently!

question. is it ok to drink a ton of water after any workout. I always end up really thirsty. how often should one do this? 3 times a week is ok right?... thank you! felt the pain right away!

I remember I took a clss called "Abs, buns, and thighs" at Lifestyles gym... we did these exercises and they KILLED ME! They're really good for your butt though!
anyone can do this workout! and to all those who wanna do this everyday... kudos to you. :) however keep in mind it's basically as strength exercise and there should be a day's rest in between. says so on the sparkpeople website as well. All The Best!

This workout should lift and tone your butt. If you want more muscle in your butt for a bigger butt you should try leg presses, lunges, squats etc with weights :)
It's ok if you drink water. If you feel the need, that means you get dehydrated and dehydration is dangerous. So you should drink as much water as you need to! Just be careful - the water has to be room temperature, if it's cold you risk lung problems.
No exercise removes fat as such, but this exercise will tone the muscles in your thighs and bum, and make you look firmer and more toned. Plus, for every pound of muscle you build, you will burn an extra 50kcals per day!! YAY!!
Probably not. Contrary to the popular phrase, "No pain, No gain, " if you ever do an excercise that puts strain or you start to feel pain on a certain part of your body it's best to stop, especially if it's your knees that are hurting because it can cause permanent damage to your joints and knee caps. If you can, take a break from any extreme excercises and after awhile when you feel your ready to attempt the excercises again bust out a mat to perform them on.
this is great! im very petite and only 18, but my butt feels like someone punched me over and over again ahhaha. I love it because that way I know it's actually working.
Oh, this kills me. Especially the end--I feel like the leg on the ground gets as much of a workout! I know when I'm out of shape, bc it REALLY kills me. :(
