@katiealanna Actually, yes! Pilates is safe to do daily since it doesn't work your muscles to fatigue (and therefore require resting/rebuilding) the way traditional strength training does.
this was great i could not keep up today cause it was like WOW. but i am going to try again later today. I am about 225 and lifting that much off the floor was not easy but i am going to keep at it.
I just had foot and knee surgery, so this works for not being able to go running and do a full workout. Any more ideas on exercises when I don't have full use of my right leg...let me know! THANKS!!!

@oDREAMERRo If your shoulders are weak, that could explain it. The shoulder and arm is working very hard to hold the body up in that position. Make sure you're in proper alignment (hand under shoulder) to avoid pain, but if it's still too difficult, you'll have to modify. Come to the elbow and/or knees or drop your bottom knee to the ground during the side planks.
Actually, this short workout is safe to do twice a day and on consecutive days. Unlike traditional strength training, Pilates does not work muscles to fatigue and is safe to do daily.
Is this workout duration along with your leg workout enough time to spend doing pilates in one session? How many times a week should I do these exercises to see results?
haha same here! but i only do the first few minutes like lying on your back and stuff, i do that 2 times a day, the other stuff i can't -__- plus i do some yoga it's so relaxing!
No, it's not suppose to hurt. It means you're centering your efforts in your neck, not in your core where you're suppose to. Check your posture and make sure to work from your core...you'll see the difference. Best of luck. :)
@FlashJack2189 Most Pilates exercises will strengthen the core and the deep abdominal muscles as well as the lower back. This video should be good to start with although you should check with your doctor first since you experience back pain. If it hurts, then don't do a particular exercise.
it was too fast for me2, but now past 2 weeks it's pretty slow with talking, just keep doing it on your speed and u will catch her up I'm doing it 4 days in week only and the results I feel are amazing, especially the stronger back when u sit much of time
is it normal for my arm that is holding my body up to hurt at the hip lifting exercise? it's very difficult for me to lift my body up too. am i doing something wrong?
Well, when you exercise your muscles will burn fat for energy. But the more muscles you begin to gain, the more they will weigh. Muscles weigh more than fat. So you will loose the bad weight, and gain the good weight.
love handles is like fat on the sides of your stomach. like...directly outwards from your bellybutton to your belt line. dont know how to explain it haha.

this looks great but i have sciatica. would any of these moves make it worse or hurt me at all? i really need to work on my mommy-tummy!
Wow that was intense. I am too fat to lift myself on the side arm ones but everything else was ok. Great workout.
quite every healthy workout followed by instructors is better than the best solo workout...go to that studio!

Sit ups don't "spot reduce" belly fat. You need cardio (on top of pilates or strength training) to lose weight in the belly area.

This workout's a little easy on the stomach. The coaching is great, however.
Overall good, but the first 5 minutes really strained my neck.
