Probably for washrooms, concession stands (snacks need kitchens), private suites, VIP lounges and all that kind of crap that goes in every stadium. Maybe even restaurants. Some stadiums even have hotel rooms that can be booked. The stadium here in Toronto (Skydome, aka Rogers Centre) has hotel rooms with windows overlooking the playing field.

The containers don’t look like they were used to “build” the stadium. They looked like more for decoration.
What were the containers used for? Looks like they weren't really part of the overall structure.
