- The stadium takes its name from ‘bayt al sha’ar’ - which were tents historically used by nomadic peoples in Qatar and the Gulf region.
The design honours Qatar’s past and present, while keeping one eye on the future of the community.
Covering an area larger than 30 football pitches, Al Bayt Park boasts vast green spaces with play areas and exercise stations, along with tracks for running, cycling, horse riding and camel riding.
In addition, the precinct is home to multi-sport grounds which are also open for public use. In November 2021, the Quodorat Centre, a community space for the preservation of cultural heritage and inter-generational dialogue, opened its new headquarters within the precinct, in partnership with the SC and Aspire Zone.
Led by Qatar's Ministry of Culture and Sport, a branch of the Nomas Centre will teach youth about the country's cultural heritage by organising a number of activities, including horse riding.
During the timelapse recording, which lasted from beginning of 2015 to late 2020, we were supported on site by our partner in Qatar, Eclick Multimedia Solutions.

“5 thousand people killed”
I don’t realise it’s more than just a stadium. All the infrastructure around it is just as incredible
Yaa it's all possible by standing on the dead bodies of 5675 workers
Best looking stadium in my opinion.
Thanks foreign workers for your hard work in buildling this!
Who else would build it bud? The whole construction and majority of the population is foreign
@@megawave79 He literally said foreign workers
You realize that thousands died working for stupid Qatar
How they built a whole dam city like stadium in the middle of desert ,unbelievable
I watched matches in Al Bayt and Lusail, Lusail was massive but Al Bayt was so beautiful 😍

The Most beautiful Stadium for this World Cup.
There was really nothing before, only desert 😶
Probably only a couple thousand dead Guest Workers 👏🏻Qatar seems like a solid Country🧢
@@Blaubarschbube01 Yeah rip to those 3 workers who died making those stadiums and rip to the 6500 workers who died naturally. Also rip to the thousands of construction workers who die in the USA each year. You guys are so jealous and racist towards Qatar that you try to cancel them yet still miserably fail. This was the best world cup so far in history. Maybe look at how many people your own country has killed and than talk.

Salute to the workers who made this happen
Thanks to Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi workers. You all will be remembered…
Only 3 Died
Keep this like this dont destroy after world cup
Right
Imagine the wastage this stadium is after the world cup. Also, the amount of water resource this stadium takes.
when u have infinite money..u can do anything u like lol
Did they even get any rainy days?
Y ahora que va a pasar con este y los demas estadios que se construyeron para el mundial ahora que termino? Van a tener algun uso o los van a dejar abandonados asi como paso en sudafrica tras el mundial 2010 o brasil tras el mundial 2014?
No stadium will be abandoned, all of them have use after the World Cup
If you watch closely, you can see the hearses driving up every day, picking up the dead workers.

oh why not make entire doha this green
I do feel there should have been a humorous noise for every death.
propaganda
true but the Roblox death sound going off every two seconds would become annoying so they probably wouldn't have put it in :/
I mean, do you see any dead bodies?
@@michaeldemosthenous2343 bro they mostly died from overworking and shit ass work conditions and not from like falling of something
@@MediumPPBoii Yes, and that's why Qatar reported them all as 'natural causes', they just 'died' without reason in their bedrooms at night, age 30. Because of these 'natural causes', Qatar now doesn't have to pay money to the families of the lost ones.
where demolition timelapse?

yeah, not worth 6500+ lives
people die on the construction field all over the world not just Qatar, it's just a risk every construction worker take and is aware of
@@EnderVerseMC are you stupid? It wasn't the contruction itself that killed these 6500+ people. It was the conditions they worked in. Qatar provided terrible homes for them, and a very poor work enviorenment. Even though they have more than enough money to provide these workers what they need. How they treated these workers is pretty much modern slavery. Oh, and did I mention that 6500+ people died? How about you go ahead and count to that number, see how long that takes.
