Hi everyone! First of all, thank you all so much for listening and for your kind comments on the music! This is of course music that is quite different than what you are used to from me, but for fans of my usual style don't worry, there will be a lot more of that coming. I would love to have a conversation with you about A.I. The artwork was created by the talented Joren Brighton, whom I've worked with many times in the past. I saw how he crafted the cover meticulously from scratch and adapting to all my requests. We are both artists and always trying to improve and I respect him tremendously for his artistic sensibilities. As for the video clips they were created just for Spotify's canvases and I think they add a small element of visual interest that would otherwise not be possible as it's simply not realistic to hire Pixar animators for all the music I release. I just used A.I to enhance the experience for those listening on Spotify. If people think this is a bad idea I will definitely take this into consideration for my future releases. Keep in mind though that it is a relatively insignificant aspect of the release, which employed 100 humans playing and singing together in an orchestra in an age where most music is created electronically and almost all orchestral music is done with virtual instruments. I do this because I love orchestras and choirs and wish to support them as much as I can. I create this music at a financial loss, sadly. The 10's of thousands of dollars it costs to record a large orchestra and choir is impossible for me to recover since streaming platforms have devalued music to cents on a dollar, but I do it anyway because it is the air that I breathe and it brings me so much joy to compose and share with everyone. I live for music. The irony here may be that I could have chosen to not record it with a live orchestra and released the fake midi demo, do he artwork cover myself and probably pleased more people that way, but I focus on doing the best I can in the domain I am familiar. I support and hire real artists and I will be supporting real orchestras and musicians until the day I die as that is my area of expertise, my job, my passion and my love. All the best, Thomas

I absolutely did not take into account the fact that you were making the music at a huge financial loss. Now that you mention this, I would like to amend my original statement because I can see your reasoning was exactly the same as mine. I also did not know the animated version was used simply for Spotify. The static art, as for me, is perfect. I'd say you made absolutely the right choice for listening to your heart and supporting orchestras instead of choosing the alternatives. I apologize we live in a point of time and space where the physical emanation of your imagination is devalued to cents on a dollar, but I promise it is worth far more in our hearts. It is a stairway to heaven. The beauty and divinity of your music is the true coin of heaven. And though it can be bought physically, I'd say the real price a person pays for listening to your music, Thomas, comes later. Because once your music envelops their ears, they have to choose courage, they have to choose the right thing, they have to be strong and not afraid no matter what the circumstance is. That's the real price, I'd say, one pays for listening to your music. One cannot back away from anything anymore. And that completely redefines the trajectory of your life. I'll be here to support you to the end.
Thank you for your sentiments and for writing back. And to be clear I am in no way complaining. For me the true currency of music was never money, but love and beauty, inspiration, motivation, comfort, passion and compassion, and the ability to spread it so effectively through the internet by far outweighs any of the negative aspects. I am on a mission in life to do the best I can with what I have at my disposal, and to share it with as many as possible. I listen to all your feedback and adjust to your expectations. For me, if I don't have your support I cannot create. You are all my oxygen. Much love, Thomas

Hi Thomas. Thank you so much for your music and for writing this explanation. Expanding on what you said about streaming not giving you much money for your works, I assume physical releases give you more money per CD than streams, but I also don't know if there's enough sales and demand to justify them. As one who buys your CDs and knows there are a few projects missing in physical format(Myth, Colin Frake, American Dream, etc), is the process of releasing your works in physical format at a loss too or could you see making them again in the future? It would be good if that could help more. Thank you for everything that you do and we will keep supporting you as much as we can.
@@DJBTV1 Thank you for your support! I sincerely appreciate it. Creating physical CDs is more an issue with the logistics, where to keep it stored, who's doing the fulfillment work etc. For Humanity when it's all done I am going to release a collector's box edition in limited supply. It will have some extra tracks and will be nice to have for the biggest supporters of my music. I think having something physical in your hand makes it more special. I remember when I was reading the liner notes in the CDs I bought while listening when I was younger. It makes it so much more of a unique experience. Perhaps vinyl would be cool too. It's also a time issue! I am trying to write and record all my music while fulfilling all my other obligations too!
