- This is an old cartoon that I watched on Nick Jr in the early 90s. The quality is lacking, but I have yet to find a better video. Its overflowing with cuteness but still better then any young kids show on today. Thanks again to Retrojunk.com for finding this.

Man, Nick Jr. was awesome when I was a little kid! I can't believe I never realized that until recently! I grew up with shows like this, Grimm's Masterpiece Theater, and David the Gnome.
I almost thought I was going crazy trying to find someone who remembered this show. Now I can show this vid.
I wish this old nick jr cartoon and other old nick jr cartoon shows was still on tv, i have two nieces, i wish this old cartoon show and others was still on tv, so they can experience this cartoon show and others, like i have before them.
One of my favorite shows It thanks to shows like this and David the Gnome, the Muppet babies and others that I ended up being a relatively nice kind person with good morals.

My favorite characters are Lili and Willie.
I remember this show the Noozles, Grims Fairy Tales, and the Muppet Babies all being on Nick Jr. They just don't make decent cartoons anymore! The 80's and the early to mid 90's were the golden age of cartoons! I Wish Boomerang would put some of these shows on!
i used to love this show, i remember it came on before Eureka's Castle and Papa Beaver's Story Time.
I have been trying to find this cartoon for ages! As an adult, all I remembered was it was a cartoon about faeries but NOT David the Gnome.

Lol.. I'm the only person in my house who remembers this show! It use to come on Nick jr. At 9:30 in the morning.. I use to have moonpies n some kinda juice while watching this show.. Damn.. Talk about nostalgia.. Lol
I am 25. Noozles rocked, I actually have a epsidoes on VHS, including official copies. Anyway, did anyone notice The Littl' Bits had some of the same music cues throughout episodes as Noozles?

My favorite childhood cartoon series! Got to "stay up" to watch it before nap-time right after lunch. Anyone I've ever mentioned it to have no recollection of it but I sure remember it!
They used to have another series on Nick Jr. that was anime too..i can't remember the name of the show to save my live but it was very cool..it was a series about fairytales
as a kid, i can remember getting cable for the first time when i was probably about 10 years old. I was thrilled with the idea of having Nickelodeon, and this is the first cartoon i can remember watching. Brings back good memories.

OMG! I remember this show! I loved it a lot, I only remember one episode and that was something about a red rainbow being a dark omen and the lesson had something to do with courage. man, now I want to watch it again!

OMG!!! I LOVED this show when I was little, and no one EVER knows what I'm talking about. My Nanny used to watch it with me all the time and she doesn't even remember it! I'm going to show here this and see if it stirs her memory. Man, shows were so much better when I was kid...
ah u must be thinkin Grimm's Fairy Tales I remember that show yeah it was an anime I remember it because i used to watch it when i was younger lol i liked their versions of most of the fairy tales better than most Disney movies lol xD it was a great show and of course anime :D

I recently found a copy of this on VHS at a second hand shop. I bought it for my niece because my sister used to watch this as a kid. My niece was 4 and she wore it our within a year because she loved it so much.
Oh my... I haven't seen that cartoon in freaking years upon years. My sister and I were trying to remember what that show was but thanks to retrojunk we finally know. That's awesome. :D
Oh my Goodness Gracious, I remember this cartoon, everything I thought about this cartoon, I always thought about david the gnome. Thankyou who ever had the beautiful memory to bring this cartoon back to our memories. I also do remember the little bits came out before david the gnome.
agreed, 23 and I watched this as a kid. It's cool that we all watched a common channel. My little brother (10 years younger) has grown up watching cartoon network, so these days kids have a lot of options.

OH my god, i LoVED this show, this was back in the early 90's , i remember loving those snow days and staying home. I loved Nick Jr then. Not so much now, they had cool shows, like Noosels, Roo Bear and his friends, David t he knoem, Mya the Bee, does anyone know where i could get this titles?
This theme song came in my mind yesterday with "we're the lil bits" repeatedly. I knew I wasn't crazy, lol.

same here! every time i say some'n about the little bits no1 remembers! this is probably the reason y i like anime now. i'm 16 go'n on 17 now! dude u just made my day. i remember watch'n this show when i was lil. i was so sad when it ended. n when it was never on n e more i cried. n years later i remembered there was a show n they sung "we're the little bits!" n i could picture some scenes but could'n remember exactly wut it was. i wish they would put this on dvd or some'n!

screw the quality man that just makes it even better when you go buy those old vhs tapes and you watch it so much that you have to track it to get it to work and then finally it gets so hot the tape comes out god i miss those days
NO FLIPPEN WAY!!!! I have not seen or thought about this cartoon in years! This is like bringing back a buch of childhood memories. I'm going to look for some other of the best cartoons in history. Kids today don't know what a good Cartoon is until they see ours.

God, I loved this show. Back in the day when cartoons for kids had emotional depth and more than just the luke warm "safe" shows of today. I wish there was a place to download the old episodes, or buy them even. Have to research that one.

this is one of my top ten cartoons i use to watch as a lil girl and i loved it then and i still love it now and when i decide to have children they'll love it as well.

I remember looking up information on Tatsunoko when Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars was being released in NA, and saw this show come up never knowing it was from Tatsunoko. Minds were blown.

OMG! Everyone thought I was losing my mind when I would talk about this show! Now I have proof, LOL. I miss this show like crazy. The only episode I can remember is when the girl's parents were turned away from the town, and she threatened to leave her Grandpa to go with them, and the kids of the town said they would all leave too.

Man! It's been ages since I last have any recollection of watching this. Even at 22 I'm getting old. Sadly, I can't remember much other than the earthquake episode where the green one with the beard was carving a tunnel for safety. Maybe I'll find episodes for my cousins.
I remembered this show existing but didn't know much about it other than that it had really short characters. What's weird though, is when I clicked on this video I was able to sing along with the melody to the song in this OP without missing a beat.

I remember my little brother and my younger cousins would be playing outside, and they would be marching down the road in a straight line singing "WE'RE THE IDIOTS! WE'RE THE IDIOTS!" lmfao they had like sticks and brooms and stuff singing that... I used to be rolling!
Well, I remember lots of these eps, but my favorite was the one where Billy-Bit made a kite for Lilly-Bit, but the wind blew it far away while she was riding it and Willy-Bit went to look for her and they both ended up at this Ice-lady's house in snowy mountains and were under the impression she was going to eat them XD
