    I have heard today that Hitec no longer makes radio transmitters. Is that true? I have an Aurora 9 and a Optima 9. Binding it difficult because the stupid module is at the back instead of at the front or sides. And my Optima 9 seems to be faulty. When I sway the right joystick all the servos (6) start to jerk left and right and the blue light on the Optima 9 flashes and beeps. When I push the right joystick (throttle) straight up, only one servo works. When I push the same joystick left or right (aileron), only one servo works and 4he other doesn't. But when the same joystick is swayed (pushed) all around (in circle) to make those two servos (throttle and aileron) work, all other service then start to jerk or rotate left and right. Let go of the joystic and they then return back to the rest position (neutral) after about 1-2 seconds. Why it does this is the question I need to know because it could mean a crash if this system it installed in a model. Batteries are fully charged but binding is strange on this unit. The blue light on the Optima 9 hardly comes on at binding, just a short flash and that's about it. I've wasted my money.

    Any way to see SPC battery voltage on screen as on Aurora 9? Not relay practical to go into menu to check battery voltage while flying...

    Hi, I have the Flash 7. Can I bind it to a WLToys F949 board? I know they do it with FlySky transmitters.

    I have the Flash 8, Just got it for a custom airboat im building from scratch. I have it set up and bound correctly to an optima 7. As soon as it connects to the receiver it starts beeping like nuts. I have done everything to get it to stop to no avail. Throttle works as expected, rudder servo also works, but it just never stops beeping. I really could use some help here.

    I have a hitec aroura 9x and an optima 6 rx. I have had problems with it loosing bind. The distributor Jperkins in the UK have said its because I use the telemetry instead of the SPC plug. I personally think this is bull crap? What do you think? It seems unusual to make a product work that you cant use because it makes it fault?

    • @HugeVictor
      @HugeVictor 9 лет назад

      What you said makes no sense. The SPC port is the only telemetry that the optima 6 offers, as in battery voltage. Can you elaborate a little? How exactly does it lose bind?

    • @2BrothersHobby
      @2BrothersHobby  9 лет назад

      oliverg98 Victor is correct, the Optima 6 only offers the SPC port for telemetry (main pack voltage) as there is no Data port on the RX to connect a telemetry sensor station. The SPC port does separate the Rx bus, however, and powers the radio from the main pack whereas the servos are driven by the BEC or whatever power is provided through the channel or battery ports. Regardless, as long as the main flight pack is connected and the BEC/Rx Battery is providing power the radio connection should be solid. When you say "losing binding", I'm assuming you mean the Tx doesn't remember the Rx ID after you power down and you're having to go through the binding process more than once. If that's the case, something is faulty. Either the A9X Spectra module has problems or the Rx is bad. Either way, troubleshoot and get it returned/replaced/fixed. If, however, you're losing connection in flight then there are a number of troubleshooting steps to go through. Ultimately it could be a bad component as well, but there are also a number of other factors that could contribute to loss of signal.

      ***** I came to say my hitec flash 7 is working good. I make a mistake to configure receiver. Its a good radio.

    In my Manual pages 17/18 refers to a blue LED when binding.
    It did not show a blue LED when I was binding so I found this video helpful as it doesn't show a blue LED here either.
    System works ok so maybe the manual needs revision
