    The best part about flying scale replicas is seeing it fly. The Beaver looks amazing at about 10 feet, you forget it's made of foam.

    I just purchased the receiver ready version and am very excited to fly it. I haven't been into rc very long but have seen a couple of beavers at our club and the guys really like them. I think the lights that come pre-installed are a seriously cool thought.

    Don't know where you guys went but I miss your reviews. Concise, without a lot of bs. Hobbico and tactic seemed to have gone away as well. I still have that same radio you used to fly that one. Tactic has yet to fail me.

    Does anyone know where I can find a setup guide for this plane? I have absolutely no idea how to do the wiring.

    I’ve looked at every video and did not see any beavers with the nylon clear lines that hook up from the top of the wing strut down to the floats. The instructions don’t say anything about it. After several flights I found out that the float strut plastic mounts on the fuselage began to dig into the foam and they moved up and down as the airplane taxied On the water. So the airplane rocked back and forth on the floats. Then I installed the line between the top of the wing strut and the float and made sure the line had some tension on them. That completely eliminates the problem of the airplane rocking side to side on the floats.

    Let me just start by saying, your courage to fly, on such a windy day is EXEMPLARY!!! You could not have chosen a better Subject to review, that would better prove, it's ability to perform so well, in such adverse conditions! The Beaver has a wonderful history, of being a Reliable, and Trusted Workhorse, that will take a pilot where he has to go, when other planes simply cannot! Your approach, and landing tell me that Flyzone did a great job on reproducing the Beaver! It also tells me you guys have made a landing or 2! Awesome job putting it down so smoothly, after working thru that wicked turbulent approach! 2BrothersHobby Rocks! Great job! I'm subscribing!

    the motor in this is not a 28mm,it is a 41-19-850kv. this plane would barely fly with a 28mm motor.

    I have one of these and I found a glaring engineering flaw. That "radial engine" is an impossibility. Radials have odd number of cylinders. This one has 8 !!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. I wish I knew how Dynam screwed THAT up.

    How easy does the wing come on and off? I like to fly planes from my boat out on the lake,but this looks pretty big to carry around all put together

    • @noahegle5765
      @noahegle5765 8 лет назад

      It's harder at first because it looks like your almost going to break it because of how stiff it is, but your not, after a while it will start to get easier

    I just bought this as my first plane ever and am scared to fly it I like it so much. I believe your wrong on 4 servos. I have not even started assembly but notice 2 servos down in the feuselodge then one servo right under the wings in the very center of the feuselodge then also looks like a servo in each wing which is a total of 5 servos is what I believe I'm seeing. You say 4 and I've seen other adds state 4 and I've also seen adds that say 5 servos. I am right about thee being 5 servos right??? Anyone out there know the answer. Looks like 5 to me unless there is not a servo in each wing but that would mean it only has 3 servos. Also should I buy another cheap 3 channel plane to learn with. I have the controls all figured out on the simulator but can't seem to land it being It seems so hard to get the plane back to ya. Is it really this hard in real life. If so I think I'm screwed.

      I just got mine a couple days ago and its still in the box and there are 5 servos for the plane. The fifth is for the flaps and buying a cheap 3 channel plane is one way to learn, but for me I Learned on a 4 channel plane and if need be build the plane and go to a AMA club and they can teach you to fly with out crashing. Just put on the wheels first and once you mastered the flying of the plane on wheels ( I agree they don't belong on the beaver) then go to the floats and enjoy the real amphibious beaver. I plan to build and fly mine in a couple of weeks and I can tell you then of how hard or easy it is to fly. Hope this helps.

    Very nice review..i got this plane after watching this review and it is gorgeous. Have one quick question though .. in the kit with the bag with the elastics for the water rudder there is two peices of fishing line hooked too three metal rings...for the life of me i cant figure out what these are for. Any insight would be greatly appreciated

    I live on st thomas so is this good with saltwater

    • @kevinbrooks6265
      @kevinbrooks6265 9 лет назад

      saltwater will kill anything rc,unless the electronics and metal parts are completely covered and that just would not work,some boats can handle saltwater,if they have stainless steel hardware.

      kevin brooks I have been flying mine for 4-5 months off saltwater only changed the motor bearings once due to a bad landing which had the front part of the fuselage submerged!! But so far no problems bring on summer for some more seaplane flying off the mediterranean sea!!
