    Your assessments on the flight, power, durability and more of this plane is extremely helpful. I subscribed to your site after listening to this. Well done and thanks for taking the time to give us a complete review of this plane. If you do this level of detail on all reviews I won't need to listen to anyone else!

    best plane I've ever put together. it was enjoyable. even the screw bags were all marked. floats were pretty easy. and the nav lights and interior really gave it a scale look

    I agree with Toby Wright you guys by far have been the most helpful on making a decision to buy a rc airplane. Glad I found your reviews and all manufacturers should ask you guys to review their product.

    Another great review guys. I have and love this airplane. Flyzone really got it right all the way around. Thanks to your comment about the calculator app, I have my go-to site to run battery/motor numbers. You guys should plug that app more often.

    Thanks. It's a combination of adverse yaw but the floats act as a pendulum causing the tail to sag as well just a bit. The SFGs on the horizontal stabilizer help a lot though so it's negligible.

    Umm yeah, I love this plane, however I must add a clarification here, those little blade features on the front of the floats are actually there to reduce water from flying up into your prop during takeoff and taxiing

    Another great review as always guys. I love my Beaver as well. BTW,if I understood slip sag that would equate to adverse yaw. Proverse yaw would be when it yaws into the turn.

    Would it be recommended to have a 3 blade prop for the water takeoff and landing since those props have a smaller diameter so as not to touch the water?

    • @factorypilot99
      @factorypilot99 9 лет назад

      I think by the time the prop hits the water you would have flipped over already so....

      Ross Tinney I just got a 3 blade prop. its NOT smaller. I plan on doing my maiden on wheels just to be sure I have no issues. I suspect it flys like the Maule. The real Beaver used a 3 bladed prop.

    Hi guys!! I got my beaver today and there's something moving around on the floats, sounds like a loose part is inside. Is that normal??

    Hey captinmax11 I seen you having trouble deciding with the beaver and the corvalis. Just wanted to say I fought this same battle and could not decide but since it was going to be my first plane I went with the beaver being they say a high wing plane is more begginer friendly. You seem to be experienced. I decide de soon as I master flying I'm buying the corvalis also. If ya can't decide just go with both lol.

    Generally speaking, would you say flying an RC plane is easier than flying an actual plane?

    • @miken5805
      @miken5805 7 лет назад

      I fly real and RC and just because you can fly one doesn't mean you can fly another. In RC you are not in the cockpit so you have a lot of orientation issues. Both ways you will crash. Excluding real flying navigation, regulations, procedures. I would say it is about the same. I soloed in 13 hours of instruction in real flying and it probably took me that many hours to get proficient with a trainer airplane.

    Should the throttle be in the N or R spot on that controller.
