Wow.... I am very impressed with your videos! Very well laid out, and produced very nicely. I flew Futaba for most of my RC days (flew for about 7 years, age 10-17. Been out for a few now) Man, I loved my 7 and 9C Futabas! I ended up selling my 9C 72mHz and went 2.4gHz 10C on my last plane, 100CC Edge 540. Sold plane and radio soon after... lost interest in RC after taking a few glider lessons LOL I'm considering getting back into RC (DLG looks like a blast :) ) until I can start full scale mechanics/flying. REALLY looked into the 10C again, but $650? Wow.... I think you've sold me on Hitec. It's always been close between Futaba and Hitec.... until now. Liking the 9X, for room to grow later. Do you guys have a website to order from, through your facility/shop? Thanks!
Hello Kurt. Future Hitec radios should have a removable module. The reason: FPV. A lot of people are getting into FPV (first pilot view). We need a way to install Dragon Link to our radios! For this reason I bought the Aurora 9, not the 9X. Please tell my concerns to Hitec for me. Thanks. Bye.

Can i bind my aurora9x to a spektrum reciver, its because im trying to buy the p51 mustand that e flite has. The plane has safe flight mode but i want to use my hitect radio!!
I have the Aurora 9 and have the 72 MHz moduel and the assin that plug in the back to use different receivers I'm assuming theses wont work since there no place to plug them in on the back, is this correct.
Hi, Just brought a 9X to fly my Trex 550E and Hobbyking Hyperbipe 3D plane I am using the Optima 7 in the plane, which works great with the onboard telemetry. The heli. is a different matter cannot get the hk 401b gyro to work also tried Assan GA250 to work properly, I set up the gyro as per the instructions and some help from RUclips the rudder stick is reprogramming the gyro in flight almost caused a crash, can you or any one Please help?
Loving the new aurora 9x tx though have just found an annoying bug. I fly f3k gliders and have multiple flight modes on a single switch. If i have the transmitter screen on the front page i can trim each flight mode individually, but if i am in the full screen timer page i can now only change trim of the flight mode i was in before changing pages. So for example if im in cruze mode with +5 clicks of trim change screens to the dedicated timer page move switch to thearmal mode give +5 clicks of trim and go back to the main page it shows cruze mode with +10 of trim and thermal mode still at 0 trim, when it should be cruze +5 and thermal +5. Can still fly, just not with the timer screen selected:(
I'm so hoping you answer me being I don't want to go buying the fms Cessna 182 model without your professional input. The thing seems so nice and even has 6 servos. But I know you all love the Cessna corvalis and the flyzone beaver. Please tell me wich of these 3 you recommend for my first plane. And also I have 8 3s lipos that are 2000/2200mah. Will these fit the beaver and corvalis??
Hi Jacob, FMS makes good stuff. Any of the three models would be a good choice for an airplane in in terms of flight performance and quality. In regards to it being your first model, none of these are a good choice for first time pilots! They all require intermediate flying skills. I would highly recommend starting off with a 3 channel high wing airplane if you are learning on your own. All three airplanes you have mentioned are 4 channel with little dihedral and that's more of a challenge. Finally, yes, all three planes will accommodate 3S 200-2200 mAh LiPos so you're safe there. Keep in mind, whenever you increase capacity from the recommended pack, the weight increases. Although not enough to make a huge difference from 1800 to 2200, it's enough to throw off the CG so be sure to re-balance the plane before flight.
Hi, I bought a 9x and a whole telemetry hts-ss system and HTS-navy but it is imposible to link the aurora 9x with the hts-navy and nobody is able to tell me how, could you help me?
For those of you who are curious. In a word, "YES", it is far worth the money to upgrade. I feel the level of my skills has dramatically improved with acquiring the 9X. I have such a cleaner and more crisp connected feeling to all my aircraft. Very fast response and so silky smooth....Having two 42% planes that are in excess of $6000.00 dollars each and two 50cc in the excess of $2000.00 each, (not to mention my other aircraft) I would not trust them to anything other than the Aurora 9X.
If you wish to hear voice annunciation you will need to purchase the HTS-VOICE module. This module clamps to the upper handle and plugs into the back of the transmitter. Even without an expanded telemetry module, the HTS-VOICE will announce the main pack voltage when you use a compatible Optima receiver with an SPC connection.

Fernando Lucas Yes, the iView is for logging or real time monitoring of the telemetry but does not announce stats.
