U have been a motivation to me ma, i recently resigned from my work just to start this beautiful journey of customization, embroidery especially, just saving up to get the machine 🙏 It hasn't been easy but i will definitely come through ❤❤ Thank you
I love your content, i dabble in cricut cutting and sublimation and maybe dtf when if it becomes more affordable and less finiky, embroidery is just fun to watch, you always decribe things so well, tfs
Ive found that I get cleaner edges if I put a satin border around the edges AFTER cutting away the fabric, but leaving the patch attached to the interfacing.
I made patches a while back just to try it out. I am horrible on cutting them close to the stitches once I’m done. I’ve done double tear away or tear away and glitter vinyl. Any thing so I don’t have to cut it😂 but the same color stitches is a good idea. And I bought some extra hold or bond off Amazon for the iron on part. But your video was helpful. Still need to learn more on making the patches.
Love the video chica and the patches are really nice. Blue and gold patch for me😊. I use leatherette for my patches or brick vinyl but I see you can really play with embroidery. Thanks 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Katrina you put a design on a silver glitter tumbler - look like it was a valentine design. I have looked and looked for it. Can you please tell me which one it was? I would so much appreciate your help on this. I do love your patches.
@@jeannie55 I’m sorry I have so many videos I truly don’t know which one. I don’t have the time to search through all my videos. I don’t really sell valentine designs so it was a one time thing I’m sure. You can always use creative fabrica the site I get a lot of my designs from and search valentine’s and everything will come up. It’s linked in the description box below. Sorry.
I'm researching and learning. Haven't made the purchase yet. Question....when making the patch...is felt always used...or any type of fabric...or is fabric needed?
I love using plastic to make patches…no cutting you just carefully pull your patch off and turn the thread off the back….i suck at cutting off Appliqué🤣🤣🤣
@@pamsfiberfrenzy there are a few digitizing videos but not that many depending on what software you use. The problem is digitizing videos are boring to make and to watch

Thank you so much for this video! I have had this software for 2 years and don’t know how to use it. You explained everything so well.
@@NinaSellers so glad to help. The software can definitely be a challenge. Go to Ricoma’s RUclips page they have tutorials on the software as well.

You can also use matching color fabric markers on the edges.

Great video!! That heat n bond don’t be working for me like that I have to sew them on until I can find a great industrial kind to use.
Lonestar Adhesive. Best on the market. If applied correctly you will rip your hat or whatever you apply your patch to before the Adhesive comes off.
Good video thanks looks good purple

So can you take an svg and turn it into digitize file yourself or do you have to pay for that?
@@Nani_Of3 you can do it using the auto feature. Every image will be different. You might need to make adjustments the more complex the file is
