in my hundreds of hours of playtime i actually encountered the door boss like 10-20 times, so everytime i see him i have to watch out for attacks i dont remember
For me the rat is by far the hardest. I haven't beaten the punchout phase yet. And I can't practice it that much because I often die at phase 2 (I still haven't mastered some patterns there). However, since I've unlocked the gunslinger (last Sunday), I get to the 3rd phase more often. Don't forget that you need to buy the key for 115, so you can't open all the chests on the first floors (and you want to go to the oubliette), which makes it harder (especially without synergies --> Gunslinger)
i agreed with almost everything, except for dr wolf's monster. i know full heartedly that this is your opinion, but you cant tell *me* that dr wolfs monster is harder than black stache. imo hes BY FAR the easiest in the game. hes really easy, his health is literally just nothing, and his moves are pretty easy.
Black stache is really easy in my opinion but dr wolfs monster gets buffed by dr wolf which I didn’t realise when I first fought him and I won on half a heart barley making it through
I just killed the Huntress' past, and that thing was incredibly easy. I got through the Marine's past decently with a couple of hits, I would've choked on the Pilot's past if not for a couple of last second dodges, but I got through the monster with full health. It's a combination of the Crossbow dealing really good damage and the patterns being easy to deal with that makes the boss easy.
The rat is the worst imo ive only faught him a couple times but i feel like im just so undergeared for his fight i feel like hes easily as hard as the lich but is so much earlier on in the run
In response to the first 2, gatling gull is not hard. Just run around him when he's firing and dodge roll occasionally to dodge the bullets that may stray too far. And then treadnaught is just brain-dead easy. Cannonballrog can be annoying
Old king is pretty much what it felt like to fight Bullet King as your first boss in the game (maybe also just fighting him the first time at all but as your first boss it definitely feels more difficult due to being less experienced than if you fought one of the other bosses first) just Old King is as difficult as it feels

I love how we all hate ammoconda for the same reason😂 Edit: as of now,I've fought every boss in the game,I also killed the Advanced Dragon. And I find it funny that it's not even a competition, the resourceful rat is the hardest boss in the game. Nothing else even came close to this monster.
ngl I beat Cannon for the first time thanks to that shrine that lets you drain enemy HP by standing near them. The effect persisted even in the Bullet's past and worked perfectly for shredding his HP while standing near him and dodging/blanking
I try too and i got really close when i was using it as soon as i got it everytime, but i cant survive long enough. just cant get the patterns down. Or sometimes i get clipped by the middle dodging part
@@catatronboss9317 If you're good enough at dodging, you can dodge roll through one of the big lasers and skip the attack that has them. Also, it's recommended to stay in one of the bottom corners of the area so you have enough time to avoid the other attacks. That's how I beat it at least.
For some reason- for some, F*CKING reason- I’ve never, ever beaten the Kill Pillars. I’ve beaten the game multiple times on multiple runs with multiple loadouts. Ive killed the High Dragun, the Lich and all the pasts, BUT I CANT KILL THE KILL PILLARS.
Hey Reto, fairly new fan here. Just wanted to tell you that your videos have been my daily dose of entertainment amidst the CoViD-19 quarantine. I hope you keep up the good work and keep promoting positivity in your content!
Aw that's crazy! I made that tier list. I took all the pictures from the enter the gungeon wiki. I didn't think about advanced dragun because he isn't classified as a boss in game. I used the boss page in the enter the gungeon as my reference. ( Also when I made the tier list I had just gotten to the Rat.)
In my opinion the hardest bosses are the ammoconda, old king, high priest without cover, mine flayer without cover, and the piolets past Mine flayer and high priest are pretty easy with cover for me at least. If you go into the marines past without knowing what the poison looks like is pretty hard. because I died my first time to poison.
Wallmonger and kill pillars are SO MUCH HARDER than the high priest. Fight me. His disappearance attack is easy, it’s just the cannonbalrog attack with no ricochet. His double hand spray attack is easy, the bullet streams converge and then you dodge roll over both of them at once. The only tough thing is when he sprays bullets everywhere. There’s just too many bullets on screen for wallmonger, and when kill pillars start jumping they can end up backing you into a corner and then you take a hit.
I agree…kill pillars especially!!!! They move so erratic with each pillar gone. And when the last one is there it doesn’t give you time to dodge cuz it jumps around in quick succession so it will be hitting you 70% of the time. But thats only half of the battle first you have to deal with four of them while they are spreading jammed bullets 😩😩😩
I hate ammoconda so much. It has way too much going on for a second floor boss. I can almost always beat him, but 1 random bullet always manages to hit me no matter how careful I am
@@WillowTheGremlin Delirium and hush are as hard as the dragon or boss from the past in etg,but bruh all other bosses in isaac is as hard as the easiest boss in etg
Why tf is Gatling gull harder than TT? All but, like, 2 of its rooms have cover that you can hide behind during most of its attacks. You can do Gatling Gull with no equipment at all without taking damage just by waiting for its missile attacks.
My brother had 6 hearts, 4 shields, the science gun, the space turtle and gold junk ser junken (I do not play and he calls it that) plus hot lead and he died to the door mimic
I came here to see how bad I actually was because I was struggling on beating Gatling bird and bullet king and I now understand how *GARBAGE* I am update I have just beat bullet king and Medusa wish me luck on the 3rd floor
The gorgun is definitely easy, but if she does her siren attack, and she has the poison pools in the area where you need to stand to avoid the bullets, you’re screwed unless you have poison immunity
It’s funny because I’ve played this game for about 130 hours but I consider myself a newer player. And Gattling Gull in my opinion is the easiest boss, especially if you are in a room with pillars. Also I don’t know what it is but I find the Marines past really easy, and for some reason the Pilots past was hard for me, it was the only past I died on. It’s also the case where I’ve only faced the door lord twice, but my first time facing him I did win against him, same thing with the old king.
I'm still really bummed that I messed up on my first glitch chest attempt. I only had 1 full heart, no blanks, but I also had the item that lets you respawn if you die, but you have to go pick it back up. It was a constant cycle of learning the weird patterns, dying, and repeating all to simply miss out on one chance to grab the respawn.
hate the bell guy, I didn't face him much yet, so his attacks are very unpredictable to me, easily the harder from third floor to me, but it may change the door boss I only faced once, and is the reason why I have a flawless on floor 4, lol
I personally had more trouble with Agunim than I did with the old king because he moved around so much and the weapon I was using that round was the hyper light blaster.

I think the Lich is easy based on the fact that you're extremely well equipped when you fight him. If you can get through bullet hell you can beat the Lich.
as a new player (7 hours in, got to the third floor 3 times and always got the mine flyer :/), Gatling gull can be pretty challenging in the stage without unbreakable cover, if there's unbreakable cover tho he is a pushover.
For the pasts, I think you got the order pretty wrong. From easiest to hardest, here is my list and a short explanation. #7 The Hunter. The robot's attacks were fairly easy to understand and I have nearly perfected it on multiple occasions. #6 The Convict. It just has a lot of health and moves a lot, resulting in taking forever despite it being extremely easy. #5 The Marine. The fight lasts a decent length of time, but it is kind of rough. I feel like it has patterns that are not that bad to dodge. #4 The Robot. It is kind of hard, but it lacks the health to be too much of a problem. #3 The Bullet. Having to attack up close is odd, but the patterns are not at all hard. After getting used to it, it gets a lot easier. #2 The Pilot. I think this is the hardest traditional past. The patterns are hard, if you don't know to destroy the ads it is so much harder, and it has so much health that it just survives so long. #1 The Gunslinger. Yeah, this fight is kind of not exactly a past. When unlocking Gunslinger, you need to do a Paradox run and beat the Lich, then you get the chance to do a Gunslinger run. Once you do, you need to "beat the gunslinger's past. This is an alternate version of hell where you face the first phase of the Lich stacked upon a harder version of itself. Without some sort of cheese, this fight is so hard.
I am quite new to gungeon ( 15 hours playtime) and I am really enjoying it. But I disagree on placement of floor 2 bosses. I have beaten the ammoconda 3 times and the beholster once. This may have been rng, And I got lucky with dodging. But great video!
Lich is _surprisingly_ easy for being the ‘last’ boss of the game. All the phases are easy so long as you have good damage and blanks (maybe 2/3). It’s the entire floor that’ll get ya. I feel like that means a fair amount, seeing as I’ve only beat him twice.
I actually find Trigger Twins to be pretty troublesome with Pilot on Turbo mode if I’m stuck with the starter gun. The other first floor bosses don’t scare me in that situation.
@@heihogreenzx4704 Which is still a lot when I'm stuck with only the starter gun. Which is a situation that arises if I'm unlucky with key drops and lockpick and want to get into Oubliette guaranteed. They're way easier if you don't have a shitty gun.
@@kevinhuang2631 I just do Oubliette on rainbow mode. You can just get two keys there since the chests have their rewards taken away and you can be given a good boss killer.
The mine flayer is by far the hardest floor 3 boss to me. Both the tank and cannonball are extremely easy and self explanatory but I legit have no idea how to fight mine flayer.
My first ever past win was the alien, I thought it was super easy and perfected it. The patterns were pretty easy, the pilot on the other hand though.....I won by half a heart

Wait, that fight can have pillars in the room!?
Canon is actually like one of my biggest struggles, while the door is more of an okay for me because I get him all the time
in my hundreds of hours of playtime i actually encountered the door boss like 10-20 times, so everytime i see him i have to watch out for attacks i dont remember
just have to play slow, its boring, but it'll make him hell a lot more easy.
Door Lord is always there in the boss rush.
I’ve played like 500 hours and got him once
To me the blob is the easiest boss I’ve ever faced, I perfect it almost every time I go.
Well blob can ruin a no hit because of some attacks or the blob hitbox when it jumps
Exactly
i agreed with almost everything, except for dr wolf's monster. i know full heartedly that this is your opinion, but you cant tell *me* that dr wolfs monster is harder than black stache. imo hes BY FAR the easiest in the game. hes really easy, his health is literally just nothing, and his moves are pretty easy.
Black stache is really easy in my opinion but dr wolfs monster gets buffed by dr wolf which I didn’t realise when I first fought him and I won on half a heart barley making it through
For black stache wth you get a okay gun and op damage multiplier
I just killed the Huntress' past, and that thing was incredibly easy. I got through the Marine's past decently with a couple of hits, I would've choked on the Pilot's past if not for a couple of last second dodges, but I got through the monster with full health. It's a combination of the Crossbow dealing really good damage and the patterns being easy to deal with that makes the boss easy.
Lmao yeah, and i didnt have a problem with dr wolf buffing him cus you juat have to chase him while shooting at the monster lmao 💀
I might need to play more... That wallmonger always gets me.
I think it’s really interesting how subjective the difficulty of the Gungeon is, like this tier list looks very different from mine
Same
High priest, in my opinion, is the stinkiest
The rat is the worst imo ive only faught him a couple times but i feel like im just so undergeared for his fight i feel like hes easily as hard as the lich but is so much earlier on in the run
@@greenfractals2827 yeah I forgot about the rat. I've only fought him once, and I died almost immediately.
The Ammoconda could totally switch places with Cannonbalrog if both of their health was tweaked a bit
hope your having a good day
The perfect run for me
first floor : Gatling gull
Second floor : gorgun
Third floor : tank
Forth floor : kill pillars
Replace gatling gull with the king or trigger twins
TimPlaysGames YT replace tank with cannonbalrog
In response to the first 2, gatling gull is not hard. Just run around him when he's firing and dodge roll occasionally to dodge the bullets that may stray too far. And then treadnaught is just brain-dead easy. Cannonballrog can be annoying
100% agree, but it has to be gull with pillars, otherwise trigger twins are easier
I would replace Gatling gull by the king and the tank by the mine flayer.
Old king is pretty much what it felt like to fight Bullet King as your first boss in the game (maybe also just fighting him the first time at all but as your first boss it definitely feels more difficult due to being less experienced than if you fought one of the other bosses first) just Old King is as difficult as it feels
The Mineflayer is stinky, for me at least.
glitch beholsters?
Glitch Beholsters aren't really a Past, more like an event caused by a 1/1000 Chance.
@@AnonymousInternetUserLaine I'd classify glitch beholster as a rare boss. You can't exactly prepare yourself for it
@@matthewwilliam9758 yeah but the door dude is the same and he ranked him
@@greenfractals2827 door lord is in the ammonomicon
@@matthewwilliam9758 but is he really much rarer then the door loard idk im no expert but ive only seen the door loard twice and ive seen gliched beholster once

Me: who gets him every 4 runs
Anger
I've only had him 5 times that I can remember from the 4 days I have in the game
Put my boy Wallmonger, Tank, and blobulord to very easy. The lich or resourceful rat (except for phase 2) shouldnt be at stinkiest but at Less Okay, but the Ammoconda, Agunim helicopter, the high dragon (Evolved vers), Mine Flayer, and Gatling gull (Since it depends on the stages) to stinkest
I love how we all hate ammoconda for the same reason😂
Edit: as of now,I've fought every boss in the game,I also killed the Advanced Dragon.
Interesting you thought Wolfenclaw was as hard as he was because he's the biggest pushover ever to me
I get high priest almost every run and he has become easier than the Gatling Gull (unless it's in the library)
Same for me, but it got much easier when I started using a controller.
IDK, High Priest is super tanky, clutters the room with bullets, and is a very small target.
Damn I can beat the “stinkiest” boss but I can’t beat the all the pasts...
What past do you struggle on ? If you don't mind me asking
@@Mat-gf7nj Pilot mostly
@@catatronboss9317 ha yes it's the weirdest one in terms of gameplay. Do you use the active item as often as you can ?
Ive killed the High Dragun, the Lich and all the pasts, BUT I CANT KILL THE KILL PILLARS.
try blanking every phase you don't like
Got ‘em earlier today with the luckiest Pilot run I’ve ever had. Still ate 6 hearts’ worth of damage, but I finally killed them!
@@galvanite6069 did you use your blanks?
Kill pillars is even easier if you got a weapon that can hit multiple targets
Hey Reto, fairly new fan here. Just wanted to tell you that your videos have been my daily dose of entertainment amidst the CoViD-19 quarantine. I hope you keep up the good work and keep promoting positivity in your content!
Aw that's crazy! I made that tier list. I took all the pictures from the enter the gungeon wiki. I didn't think about advanced dragun because he isn't classified as a boss in game. I used the boss page in the enter the gungeon as my reference. ( Also when I made the tier list I had just gotten to the Rat.)
In my opinion the hardest bosses are the ammoconda, old king, high priest without cover, mine flayer without cover, and the piolets past
Mine flayer and high priest are pretty easy with cover for me at least.
FINALLY someone who thinks like me, High Priest is actually one of my favorite bosses but the pillars are the worst thing ever
I hate ammoconda so much. It has way too much going on for a second floor boss. I can almost always beat him, but 1 random bullet always manages to hit me no matter how careful I am
Has anybody else beat R&G department agunim without taking a hit?
Without makeshift cannon or anything overly powered
Ammoconda is a pain in the ass
I love how bosses in extremely easy are as hard as the final boss in the binding of isaac
Do you mean delerium, hush, mega Satan, ultra greed, ultra greedier, ??? or the lamb

Id say you should make a video about ranking guns based on how good they are with gunslinger
I came here to see how bad I actually was because I was struggling on beating Gatling bird and bullet king and I now understand how *GARBAGE* I am
update I have just beat bullet king and Medusa wish me luck on the 3rd floor
Have you beaten the game?
@@3looy no but thanks for asking
Imo gatling gull is harder than blobulord due to the rng like I can flawless blobulord more than the gull
I hate the Gatling gull more than any other boss
Wth is up with galling gull, he's been the easiest boss for me personally, like if you pay attention its not that bad
Okay I’m willing to say I think the beholster is the easiest boss in the game
The Beholdster is so heavily pattern based (aside from the minions) that once you learn the pattern, the boss is literal child's play
The minions are the hardest part of the boss fight lmao
I'm still really bummed that I messed up on my first glitch chest attempt. I only had 1 full heart, no blanks, but I also had the item that lets you respawn if you die, but you have to go pick it back up. It was a constant cycle of learning the weird patterns, dying, and repeating all to simply miss out on one chance to grab the respawn.
Idk I reckon you could swap tread and gun snake as far as floors and I'd be chillin
for the first floor bosses: king
what if ammoconda was a third floor boss and gorgun first floor boss ?
hate the bell guy, I didn't face him much yet, so his attacks are very unpredictable to me, easily the harder from third floor to me, but it may change
the door boss I only faced once, and is the reason why I have a flawless on floor 4, lol
I miss the master round on gattling gull more than I do on treadnaught or gorgun
Agunium in Bullet's past is extremely easy imo, prob right below trigger twins honestly, since it's an incredibly short fight
I don’t know why, but cannonbalrog is still the hardest boss for me and I have like 200 hours or something wtf
Joroma Exactly, I don't know why but I find him harder than Priest or the Flayer
What are you guys doing?? Priest and Flayer are way harder!
@@fredsik Agreed. Cannonblarog is the easiest of the Floor 3 bosses.
Cory sent me and now ur my 3rd favorite utuber
I personally had more trouble with Agunim than I did with the old king because he moved around so much and the weapon I was using that round was the hyper light blaster.
I always die to gorgon but never have once to ammoconda 😭
Is it weird i have beat high priest more then kill pillars and the wall combined
never seen a list where i agree with everything he is saying but here we are
I never knew about high priest until I fought him a week ago
My issue is that third floor bosses I'm trying to not use blanks so I can go to the rat floor. That alone makes them harder.

Without blanks, bullet king is the hardest first floor boss
Gorgun's huge bullet thing that covers the whole screen actually lags the game on Xbox so if you don't have blanks you aren't going to get the master round

Wait what am I doing wrong? I have such a hard time with kill pillars every time and have never perfected them? How are the easy?
letme tell ya certain weapons will literally destroy all 4 pillars before they can finish one spinny circle attack
They are very cheese able just blank before the hop on the ground and your have like 15 seconds of free time to light ONE up then go with the one lower Heath ect. And just Dodge roll when she jumps
I think the Lich is easy based on the fact that you're extremely well equipped when you fight him. If you can get through bullet hell you can beat the Lich.
Phase 2 Bob-and-Weave attack.
as a new player (7 hours in, got to the third floor 3 times and always got the mine flyer :/), Gatling gull can be pretty challenging in the stage without unbreakable cover, if there's unbreakable cover tho he is a pushover.
Only thing I disagree with is Cannonbalrog. I think he’s the easiest of the 3rd floor bosses by far.
A lot of people are saying certain bosses are harder or easier
But this is his opinion and also this game has some rng
I am quite new to gungeon ( 15 hours playtime) and I am really enjoying it. But I disagree on placement of floor 2 bosses. I have beaten the ammoconda 3 times and the beholster once. This may have been rng, And I got lucky with dodging. But great video!
Lich is _surprisingly_ easy for being the ‘last’ boss of the game. All the phases are easy so long as you have good damage and blanks (maybe 2/3). It’s the entire floor that’ll get ya.
I feel like that means a fair amount, seeing as I’ve only beat him twice.
Blobulord sometimes completely kills me or I perfect him
I noticed that blockner is there... yet fuselier isn't...?
Blockner is Living Blockner, you're thinking of the ghost version who is a mini-boss
@@Retromation there ain't much difference, and my question still stands

Kill one, other is free.
@@heihogreenzx4704 That's what I try anyway. I only really get hit when they're together and pincer me in.

@@kevinhuang2631 I just do Oubliette on rainbow mode. You can just get two keys there since the chests have their rewards taken away and you can be given a good boss killer.
