I got my APRC last year! It's so good to have one! I feel like I have so much more freedom to do what I want! It's what allowed me to go on my trip around the island and make my current series (Episode 9 goes up at 8PM tonight). It's why I'm also trying to make a go of RUclips, but I still need more subscribers! So I'm also still teaching English. I'm surprised you had to do an interview for it though, because I'm sure I didn't.
Congratulations on getting your APRC! I applied for it on the first day I qualified and I’ve encouraged all my friends and coworkers who were reaching the five year point to go for it as well. It really makes life in Taiwan feel more permanent and stable and it’s so nice to not be at the mercy of employers.

Spent time in Taichung over the christmas break early january, stayed in a hotel across the road from Nova, some decent food in the area but I do find the city very spread out, where as other cities have everything on top of one another.
