Imagine the universe where Judy barely survived her overdose, disappeared for 25 years, studied Buddhism, traveled around Eastern Europe and healed, then had a great return in NYC where Liza opened for her starting with Theme from New York then Maybe This Time then was gracefully interrupted by Judy singing this song ❤️

This reminds me of the Tori Amos song "Happy Phantom" and the line "There's Judy Garland taking Buddha by the hand"

Imagine a universe where the people she trusted didn’t steal her earnings and made sure she was financially stable. What a crime she passed away so young. RIP, beautiful soul, we love and miss you😢❤

@@user-bm7uu5mm5n Not a rhetorical question: If you tell somebody you can't be bothered keeping track of your money so do it for me, and they take it, is it really stealing?

@@akrenwinkle If the person keeping track of your money agreed to do it in good faith and was being paid to do it, then the person taking your money to use for their own purposes without your consent is really stealing. Don't blame the victim for the bad behavior of an unethical money manager.
Financial advising, money management, book keeping, banking and accounting are all professions involving keeping track of other people's money. There are laws, regulations and ethical rules for these professions that state that willful mishandling of assets is wrong and subject to penalties.
Because of the complications of tax laws and other regulations about investments, costly mistakes can be made unwittingly by those not trained in these areas. Thus, it is more often the case than not that wealthy people employee professionals to manage their money to avoid such costly mistakes.

@@luminiferous1960 Everyone who "stole" from Judy post-MGM (1950) was not a financial advisor, accountant, professional manager, or even bookkeeper. They were, to use two archaic terms, courtesans and gigolos. Three among them became husbands. Men who worked for Judy really WORKED, if you get my meaning. And in situations like that, when business and sex are conjoined, anything goes, anything can happen, nothing should come as a surprise.

01:57 Liza was doing well... a little TOO well, and Judy decided to take matters into her own hands. Literally. Liza spoke of this mike grab years later, how Judy tried to throw her off her game. She said she recalled thinking, "You didn't do THAT in rehearsal, Mama!"

OMG! Flawless! Absolutely flawless! The effect is just spellbinding, and you do Judy proud. If you hadn't have said (at the top) that the audio was taken from the November 8th concert then I would never have known! You have synchronized it to perfection. I truly don't know how you do it, but time and time again you have achieved it. WELL DONE Jaycub! I really look forward to your videos; and each one is a treasured "event". [P.S -- I wish you'd get a job at Capitol Records, and get some more stuff released, because you would do Judy justice and I am witness to your passion with every single video that you create.] I do thank you. :)

There is an old Theatre/ Stage saying:
"Make it good, make it better, make it GREAT."
Surplus to that, they gave it CLASS!
Very few comparable examples nowadays. There ARE BRILLIANT Newcomers, but I won't mention names here.
Otherwise a whole dumb discussion will start all over again...

Jaycub, I've been subscribed to you for awhile. During this pandemic social distancing, I've been delving deeper into my online passion for Judy. It's taken me this long to discover that you have a remarkable affinity for editing Judy and VERY effectively merging different performances of hers to fantastic and quite frankly very dynamic effect. It makes me appreciate Judy performances more, plus it makes me admire your skill as an editor. Bravo Jacub ❤ 💋 From my Judy heart to yours ❤ 💋

03:06 Judy wouldn't have dared pull this stunt with Barbra, but Liza was fair game. Look and listen carefully for a split second after Judy tries to take Liza down a peg, implying she couldn't properly hold her mike. Liza: "Don't bother."
