    Great information on the 3 videos of the K3, well explained and thorough review. I checked the kit out today and found your RUclips videos. I have decided to buy the K3 Karcher Kit on the strength of your excellent review. I live on the edge of a lake in Australia and experience the same winter problems as you do. Thanks and I have now subscribed to your channel.

    A slow, even, steady speed when using the patio cleaner is not only easier to achieve but also gives a more consistent result.

      Any view on the added benefit (or not) of using the patio cleaner solution Adrian?

      @@Robutube1 I've not noticed a significant difference Rob with the solutions I've tried so far. I haven't tried the kosher Karcher stuff yet but I have a bottle awaiting assessment. Watch this space.

    So I've only used this pressure washer one time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.

    Thanks for the video saved me buying the t150 package just bought jet on its own t150 seems a gimmick it's useless may as well just use the lance as it doesn't get in the crevices like the lance can .

    Great demo. I must say I'd love to see the slabs after a hypo wash. All the black mould and lichen would be removed. The patio lance did seem a tad cheap and plastic looking. A skirt underneath would have made it so much easier to use - it would glide across instead of scrape across the patio surface.

    • @Grumpy_Jock
      @Grumpy_Jock  Год назад +1

      You are right about a brush skirt being of benefit. There are more expensive models you can buy which have this, I think this is the cheapest option they do, hence why it comes as part of the kit.

      They have a 3 year warranty in Australia from Bunnings and a extra 2 on top of that if you register your purchase online so 5 years think I might give it a go knowing I have 5 years backing

    I wish karcher added a swivel joint on the yellow hood and add a 6" extension lance for taller people.
    I find iam standing at a painfull angle when i use our k4 to clean slabs.

    At 2.18 when you turn the power washer on, have you still got the variable lance in “soft” mode or on to full power?

    • @Grumpy_Jock
      @Grumpy_Jock  3 месяца назад

      Soft mode just for putting out the detergent, basically the power of your tap water flow.

    Thanks for this 'how to'; very helpful. Is the pre-soak phase essential? I was just going to load the dispenser and go straight in with the patio cleaner but now wonder if that's right? Thanks!

    • @Grumpy_Jock
      @Grumpy_Jock  3 месяца назад

      I don’t think it is essential, I’ve not done it since on other areas and not noticed a difference in the result. The machine is what gets the dirt off. Enjoy your cleaning!

    There's no brush on the patio cleaner bit? Plastic scrapping on slabs doesn't seem too clever

    • @Grumpy_Jock
      @Grumpy_Jock  4 месяца назад

      I agree, there is a more expensive attachment you can buy separately but it’s not included as part of the package, just the cheap version without the brush.

    What better karcher k3vs k5?

    • @Grumpy_Jock
      @Grumpy_Jock  Год назад

      I’ve not tried a K5 so can’t comment, but I imagine the K5 is higher spec and therefore better for some tasks? I guess value for money and requirement is the key decider.

    I thought the patio attachment would have had small wheels. Doesn't seem right scaping plastic on the ground.

    • @Grumpy_Jock
      @Grumpy_Jock  Год назад +1

      The more expensive models have a brush to hold them off the ground, and to stop spray. This is definitely the cheapest option of what they offer.

    • @bigbadaboomboom
      @bigbadaboomboom Год назад +1

      @Grumpy_Jock thanks for the reply. If it does, the same job might as well get the cheaper 1. As it'll probably only be used once a year anyway. Cheers👍🏼

    вот это нагадил! Вообщем, я бы делал все совершенно по другому. 1) никакой фрезы - это зло, разрушает и все забрызгивает 2) сначала все отмываем насадкой обычной, похожей на фрезу, но не такой мощной, потом насадкой патио 3) всю грязь собираем, заливаем жидкость и проходим финишно, чтобы не рос мох и компания.
