K3 is more $ but it does have a better pressure and a pump to keep the water cooled. The K2 doesn't so it may heat up with long non stop usage. Also with the K3 it's a longer hose so you don't have to move the unit closer to where your working it. The K3 performs great. Hose is rigid but ok. Flexible hose would have been better. The K3 was the right choice over the K2 for me.
I feel somewhat vindicated by your review. My K4 Compact has finally given up the ghost after 10 years of extensive use, during which time I've replaced the pump's cylinder head (4 years ago) when it started to surge and leak out of the body. I was hoping that only going for a K3 (albeit the more compact horizontal) would leave me feeling a bit short changed, but given that you've used the same snow foam product and similar lance (the Pro Kleen came bundled with a similar design to the autoglym), I don't think I'll be missing out much by going for the cheaper model (£89.99). I still have the upgraded Equip2Clean 15m non-kink hose and aftermarket stubby gun which I could just transfer across. So I think that it'll be up to the task for weekly use.
@@aaanton11 Gave the K3 horizontal a whirl yesterday and it did a good job on the patio. However, with the same dilution ratio in the snow foam lance as the K4, I realised I need to recalculate the PIR. It was pretty runny. Still did a good job of removing all of the dust and pollen before the contact wash. Needless to say, if I was caught out and only had £80 quid to spend on a replacement washer, given that I had all the stuff previously, I would be satisfied with it. The 10 year old dirt blaster lance was also on its last legs, so come to think of it, if I needed to replace that before the motor packed in, I would have needed to spend another £30. The K3 horizontal's hose is only 4m and fully polymer with no brass fittings or click clack couplings.
Blloomin heck Anton that was top drawer sunburn, it did make me laugh 😂I used to use the Karcher range and they were good machines for the cost, can suffer from leaks over time but by then you've likely had your money's worth and can just buy another. Mine also has the yellow thing for some cleaning but does not have the black part at the bottom of it,don’t know why,I’m sure I’ll find out later but I could not have done it without your help. 4:35
1st thing to change is the hose, it's a kinking twisting nightmare! Got mine from Direct Hoses, Flexiwash, much better and you don't find you pulling the whole unit with you.
The best part about it that its light and comfortable pressure for your hand with those powerfull industrial ones your hands get tired you don't need all that power at home use or to simply clean your car. And it's twice as cheaper as those K4 or K5 models.

My choice was also based on the Karcher range being compatible with the Pressure Washer Drain Pipe Cleaning Kit which I need to unblock a underground pipe which has become blocked.
I have brought one today and must say the quality of the plastic isn’t as good as they used to be but it’s a very good little machine and I only paid £128 for it 👍

I use the k2 Same motor every day 6 hours for house cleaning you can convert them to m22 1/4 hose because the hose is crap
