Glad I found your channel. My accupuncturist is my primary care doctor. She keeps me well. I tell everyone about it. It is very effective for me, although I think it is more effective for some than others. I also see a chiropractor regularly. I do not go to western doctors. I am a retired medical professional!
Interesting statement 🙏.
What's your main reason for not visiting Wester doctor?.
I've been battling Hyperthyroidism for the past few years.
So far my treatment of taking Carbimazole for the past few years still hasn't brought my hormones down, I refused "RAI" treatment.
In some American states, primary care doctors are allowed to practice acupuncture.
@@sebastianliwinski222 Sometimes Western medicine is necessary but I find regular sessions with my acupuncturist keeps me well. Western med philosophy primarily relies on drug therapy & a symptomatic quick fix without often seeking/addressing the true cause of bodily dysfunction. I prefer to regularly encourage harmony/wellness within my body with regular acupunture treatment. I believe the body is meant to heal itself, given time and acupuncture sets it up optimally to do this.
@@sebastianliwinski222 I also don't go to western, or eastern doctors for that matter. Reason? I haven't got sick enough (yet).
Yo FBI is comin for u now 😂
I just had my first experience with acupuncture on my knee, 6 hours later 0 pain. 4 days and 2 workouts later, no pain
I have been getting acupuncture for years and your video gives me info on acupuncture, great to know.
I find acupuncture a bit scary, but now it's in my bucket list because of your explanation👍
Not gonna lie, I was very nervous when I did it the first time, when I had a sports injury. Then realized it wasn’t that bad. 😁
I go for my first treatment next year as a last resort to this chronic muscle tension. Thanks for better explaining it. I question the qi theory but releasing nerves and endorphins makes more sense.
I love your explanation Alex, and totally agree that an integrated approach is a great way to help the patient! I have had acupuncture before and I felt great after it.
Thanks Jonathan. In the clinics that I work in Canada, there are physiotherapists, massage therapists, naturopaths, kinesiologists and chiropractors. I think the team approach really helped a lot of the patients since we all have different expertise.

Alex hi,...what do you think about accupuncture for COPD?......I REALY want to know !
I’ve had acupuncture done to both of my knees 6 times now. My question is: is it normal to feel pain at the puncture points for two weeks following treatment? I mean AT the injection sites.
Good shit.
