No singer like him, little guy with the biggest sound you’ve ever heard. Ultimate performer live and will never be matched, left us too soon but thank Steve for many hours of pleasure with that fantastic bluesy rock style that still makes me shiver.

Thank you for this. Steve was such an amazing talent with an interesting life full of ups and downs, and of course, such a tragic end. He is my favorite rock hero. Very sad that so many younger folks have never heard of him. One of the greatest soul/rock voices. RIP 💔

I'm so happy to rediscover Marriott's genius. I always praised Marriott to my friends, who knew only his hit singles, and Steve Mariotte was noteworthy to anyone who'd listen to me. Thanks for your expertise. It's great!.

Small Faces are a truly special band. Steve Marriott's songwriting partnership with Ronnie Lane, lead guitar skill and incredible voice are some of the main reasons for that. Ogden's Nut Gone Flake is a masterpiece. They are up there with the great bands of the 60's (The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, The Byrds, The Monkees and The Zombies).

@@Michael-bp5im hi Michael , Steve was his own worst enemy met him a couple off times at gigs in UK, he threw away being a millionaire with his addictions I read a book by Simon Spence called all or nothing you wonder how he got to age 44, some off the story's are unbelievable and I believe he was hyperactive, maybe to much for your old friend read that book be prepared for shock and chaos.
