I used this video to replace a right rear tail light assembly (yes the bumper cover has to come off!) on a 2017 Toyota Camry XLE - it was the same principal. Thanks so much! Mark

I have a Toyota Aurion 2012 here in my country and found this to be very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to upload this video. The Aurion is built on the same Camry platform but is a higher spec vehicle that also has the V6 as standard. The bumper install is the same with only a slight difference inn cosmetic appearance.
great video . I never make the time to remove the bumper to remove a dent . now I see how easy and better it is to just remove the bumper and have 100 % access to the bumper .

There are a total of 4 body clips holding the bumper cover in place on my car. The two you show and two more near the left tire. 2. There are four white body clips holding the plastic trim piece in the trunk (the piece that surrounds the trunk latch) that stopped me from pulling it out. I had to remove all of the clips holding it in and pull the plastic trim piece straight up to remove it.
*_I have the 2014.5 Hybrid and I'm thinking that the extra steps you've mentioned are gonna be in my hellscape of a trial in trying to replace MY bumper cover.._* 🤔🥺

Does that thin plastic piece where the push pin goes through keep the bumper stable to dampen vibration? Sorry for the lengthy question. It's a difficult piece to describe.
Where did you get the bumper from? My gfs Camry is the same one as this and being the SE model it’s slightly different, but for whatever reason it is 2x the price. Can I just buy a bumper from the other models? Surely it will look fine still

Some of it is the same - there are screws and clips on the bottom of the bumper as well as the one screw near the wheel well. I'm not sure how the center of the bumper is held in place though.

Yes the steps are the same on all the trims and while you could make the non sport bumper fit, I'm pretty sure it won't look quite right. The sides and rear of the bumpers covers are molded differently.
Hello, I want to install a parking system that I ordered, 8 sensors, and might need to remove both fron & back bumpers, as I saw they have foam behind them or something, are these instruccions also for a 2001 Camry CE?
The steps are very similar but I'm not 100% sure that you have to remove the bumper cover in order to remove the light assembly. You may be able to remove it without taking off the bumper cover.
I couldn’t get the bumper to pop back on the middle part where you must lift and pull to get it off, would it be okay to just leave it like that? Bc I pushed and try many diff angles and it did not want to pop in
Do you mean the two sets of metal brackets near the opening of the trunk? If so, the bumper part sandwiches over and under the metal brackets that the clips are a part of. Hope that helps.
I pull my bumper half way off it caught onto my gate while i was backing in, i pilled the plastic latches that actually keeps the back bumper up. will it cost alot to fix it.
Ok, now we have problem! My Camry 2015 looks like 2014 USA. My rear bumper is smaller than this one. Also, I do not have the soft bumper the one in dark colour. My Camry in Middle East UAE

Is it hard to replace the black plastic clip rack that the bumper attaches to? Mine has damage on the black plastic clips but the bumper looks fine.

Not sure. 2001 - that's going back a ways. I think 1A Auto Parts have a video for that model year camry.

The steps are very similar but I'm not 100% sure that you have to remove the bumper cover in order to remove the light assembly. You may be able to remove it without taking off the bumper cover.

if you mean the black runners on the sides under the bumper, those are just the bumper brackets there only 30 or so bucks not a big deal
