My son lived in Switzerland from 1998 to 2017. We visited 5 times. I love that part of the world. Now he lives in the Czech Republic. Anxious to visit there. Thanks for your posts.
The beauty of the countryside in summer sunlight is a delight to see, while on this side of the ocean, we are wishing for spring despite covid19. At least with warmer days and blue skies staying at home will be bearable as one can be outdoors. Good luck to all watching this video and I hope we all stay well.
My compliments on a beautiful video. So nice see to a clean countryside, towns and villages, - the UK could learn a lot from your systems - unfortunately they have their heads in the sand, (as we say) and won't budge from their old fashioned methods. It is nice also to see the amount of freight lines that your factories have. Another lesson we could learn to ease our overcrowded roads.
Die Oberleitungsmaste sehen aus als sind sie so konzipiert das auch die DB fahren könnte. Ihr habt ja einen kleineren Zickzack. Stimmt doch? Wieder ein wunderschönes Fahrvideo😊😊
It is truly a lovely route, specially the first part from Schaffhausen to Bülach. I see you have quite a few cabride vidos on your channel, are you a fellow driver?
this is a great video. You used to be able to kind of sit at the front of the train on this route when it had DB ICE-T operating on it. I don't think they do the route any longer.
Loved it. A great video. A couple of questions:- a) How come the Swiss were able to run a railway route through part of Germany?? b) Is there no requirement to sound the horn at crossings etc?
a) The Germans run a line through Switzerland, too, also around Schaffhausen. It is a give and take deal. b) 99% of all level crossings are equipped with barriers and need no horn.
On the Rhinebrücke there are what looks like extra 'rails' inside the track. Is this a timing loop to check your speed is not too fast?? I love Switzerland and have seen a lot of it but your videos which are excellent are filling in some of the bits I have not visited myself. Thanks a lot🙂🙂
Tolle Mitfahrt🙃😊
Meine meist befahrene Strecke und an meinem Geburtstag hochgeladen. Gefällt mir!
Vielen Dank fürs Mitnehmen, ich fahre oft mit der Bahn und das ist nochmal ein ganz andere Perspektive.
Wonderful stuff again. It must be a privilege to drive on one of the best railway systems in the world. Such a beautiful country too. 👍🏼

What a beautiful ride, particularly the viaduct over the Rhine. So it cuts across a small corner of Germany then.
Another great trip thank you.

👏👏👏
Enjoyed the ride on a beautiful day,. Just a question, what are the three beeps one hears in the cab every so often? thanks for the ride.

@@RailwayEmotions Thank you for the great visual explanation.
Great video, I love trains! What is the purpose of the wire from pole to pole over the tracks? Tyfs! 🙏🏽💕
At this video you have passed in total under 26 (bridges and tunnels).
A great ride. I would like to go to the locomotive cabin in Switzerland one day.
It is truly a lovely route, specially the first part from Schaffhausen to Bülach. I see you have quite a few cabride vidos on your channel, are you a fellow driver?
Hey. Yes, I am a train driver in Poland.
this is a great video. You used to be able to kind of sit at the front of the train on this route when it had DB ICE-T operating on it. I don't think they do the route any longer.
@@chrismoseley9235 it was a different Route, but also from Zurich to Schaffhausen. The ICE-T does not operate in Switzerland anymore.
Quite a stretch of this was single line. How is it tokened?
The train driver doesn't need holidays. Driving that route IS holiday.

Many thanks for the reply + info and also for your excellent videos.
Have you herd the horns on these locos? A CLOWN horn has more respect.
Definitely not... these horns are extremely loud and powerful!

I love Switzerland and have seen a lot of it but your videos which are excellent are filling in some of the bits I have not visited myself. Thanks a lot🙂🙂
They keep the train on the bridge, if it would derail. It's standard on pretty much all bridges.
@@RailwayEmotions Thanks for the info and fast reply.
Very nice videos -- thanks for posting! What's the meaning of the loud triple warning beep?
It's explained here: ruclips.net/video/UYMCoyPFnWU/видео.html
@@RailwayEmotions Thanks!
Trains run on the left in Switzerland?
Usually yes.
How fast are we traveling?
Max speed on this route is 125km/h
@@RailwayEmotions Good stuff thx!
I see where graffiti has even made it to Switzerland!
That is nothing new. Graffiti in Switzerland since the early 80ies.
!!!!!!
After watching some of these videos I'm disappointed that there's so much graffiti in Switzerland. Guess stupidity is not limited to the USA ...
Very nice!
What was the top speed during the entire run?
