I like the vibrant colours. I would call it a "toddler blanket": too big to be a baby blanket, too small to be a proper sized one. I have one in DK that I sleep with during summer when I need a light cover and in winter I use it like a shawl.

I actually had planned on finishing it over the weekend, but my niece got a hold of my second skein of campfire and none of us have been able to find it 🤦🏻♀️ So I had to order another skein (and a different kit I’d been eyeing too…). That package came in right after I clocked out and sat down on the couch to crochet and relax. I’m usually not a big fan of brighter colors for myself (I gravitate towards black, grays, and neutrals), but I actually really love this color combo!

Foundation chain tip; if your tension is hard when you start, use a hook a size or two bigger than what you’re supposed to use
