You all prolly dont care at all but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
@Karsyn Alexzander Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
OMG I LOVE you!! I want to string some lights on my deck between the house and the garage, and the Sugru will be PERFECT for the brick on the house. Thank you so much:)))))
About those chairs... don't think of them as over priced think of them as doing your bit for charity and those less fortunate than you. Love the lights 😍
Serena! I searched "How to hang lights on stucco" and your video popped up! It made me happy to see someone I trust give me a way to hang the lights. Sugru is out of most colors but I found it on Amazon. Maybe you can link it to Amazon and earn a few pennies! I'll let you know if it works for me!
Once again, very useful Infro. I will look into for Sugra for a future project. Hopefully it is non toxic for indoor use. I’m thinking about running the rope light inside my closets. 👍🏽
Hey Serena! You're my She-ro! I admire and appreciate your ability to renew your spaces and items. Btw, I'm in Landover and I love Community Forklift! Keep on doing what you're doing!
Great ideas! And presentation. I would love to see how the sugru weathers/lasts outdoors and how you remove it when that time comes. Saw you on the Impatient Gardener and know I’ll be a fan.
Thanks for your video and tips. I just wanted some quick clarification, is this glue easy to remove? I am renting an apartment and wanted to make sure it is easy to remove when I move out.
what a great vid and job. you are like me.... just seeing something and going...hmmm that could be so much better. you voice and explanations are all so good. current, i was looking for a vid to help me attach solar rope lighting under the cement lip of a small pool and found this.... glad i did, it was fun. right now i have a very old ceramic garden frog w/one eye... gotta figure how what to do w/that thing... it is really ugly ;-) maybe make a pirate frog. you did such a great job on all of it...truly... and what unique thing to do w/your rope light... well done! now if it was me, i'd have paint the metal on those chairs and maybe stencil a name or a word in red on the top back of the chair but that's just me...yours looks great and matches your doors. i'm sure you know, but always be careful w/the color black (e.g. like on seats) as they will make the seat a lot hotter in the sun. i didn't learn that until a few years ago...duh. anyhoo, loved the vid...thank you !
I know this may seem out of the blue but you might want to know that 'gypped' is something that comes from the Roma people, and gypsies, which they generally consider a slur so you might want to look into use of the word.
I watched it almost immediately after she uploaded the video and DM her to alerted her to the slur. She has re-edited the video and removed it. As most people she didn't know it was a slur. I'm glad she took quick action.
Hi Serena, how sturdy would you say that glue is..I'm wanting to hang string lights and would like a fairly permanent solution without drilling the brick. Thank you!
That amazing glue is most definitely invented by a woman who couldn’t get her Christmas lights up without drilling. I NEEEED this stuff! 😃 Edit: beautiful job by the way 👍💕 Perhaps mix up some paint to match your brick/house paint and go over those little glue points 🤷♀️
Great minds think alike! I was actually going to do that--mix up some matching paint, but in the end, I was like, "oh hell, who cares." LOL. No one comes that close to my house anyhow. And at night, you can't see the Sugru. LOL Call it "lazy DIY" perhaps?? Oh! I was going to say, also that with painting the sugru, the paint may not stick well unless you prime it. So I'd prime it first with an oil-based primer, let it dry, and then paint it. The tough thing about painting it on the wall, though, after it's dried is that you'd had to be painstakingly careful that you don't get paint on the brick. That's another reason why I just left it alone.
Thrift Diving ahh, see, now that’s why you are the expert 😄😉. It looks superb either way and I will most definitely be buying some and am so pleased I saw this is invented and available. Oh The trouble I have filling in holes after the Christmas lights come down 🙄. We don’t yet have it here in UK so hoping I can get some. Thanks so much for making me aware. God bless 😊💕
Wonder if they would work on concrete/block walls, thinking of ordering and giving a try, will promise to share feedback if I do, would also be interested in knowing how much weight they hold, thank you for sharing your lovely and creative work! Blessings.
It should work on concrete if it works on brick. I am going to try to remove it soon (it has stayed in place!!) to see how easy or difficult it is to remove. :)
I like it but I would have cut a cubbie out of the bushes for both chairs then placed ottom(s) in front and tall flowers back ...surrounded by LED lights for a more intimate appeal. Have flowers floating from "home" to back of cubbie". Just a thought.
Yes, it works really well! Just let it cure for about 24 hours and make sure the tape is holding everything securely and there you go! It pulls out without damage or leaving any marks!
So, with the zip locks, what you're saying is that you don’t have any screws loose? 😅😅😅. Sorry, couldn't resist! LOL. Maybe its me but $20/chair seems expensive. I wouldn't have gone over $10 ea. At most. Especially when you have to replace the wood. One question though. When it comes time to take down the lights, how hard is it to take that clay off? Good little video! 😊
Good question! I don't know, because here in Maryland, we only get but so cold--not Canadian cold! But even throughout the seasons, it held up through rain, snow, and sun!
Does it lift off/pull off after having the holiday lights up? Or is there a trick to removing it? I understand what you mean about not smearing it into the brick.
I have actually left it up, but I am planning to do another video soon where I will attempt to remove it to see what the result will be, if it leaves marks, etc.
Such a good transformation. And the product sponsor looks amazing. Really useful for rentals! Does it leave a residue when you remove it from the wall?
I tried it on the side of my kitchen cabinets when I first received it, making a little hook and when I removed it a couple weeks later, it had a little bit of residue, but when I wiped with the sponge, it came off. So it looks to be apartment safe! :)

I like this idea , easy cozy and cute
Perfect timing! I just got some lights for my front porch for Fall and was trying to figure out how to hang them on the brick. TFS!
YAY! Glad I could give you some ideas! :)
You're my hero I swear!!! I love that you don't spend a bunch of money, but you still get the best results! 👍💝😁💪🌟😍🙌
That was such a great idea!!! It is so dope that you keep your videos so real.
Your porch looks so inviting and comfortable.
So happy to see your video pop up! Would love to see more holiday diy's for around the house.
The chairs look amazing, the wood looks so much safer to sit on . Fall can't come quick enough 🤗
This is such a good idea! Hanging lights can be such a hassle but this looks a lot easier
You all prolly dont care at all but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account??

This glue seems like a great idea to add lights around your garage door for Christmas. Also, may be a great way to hang wreaths on windows!

Everything looks wonderful. Sugru? A few months ago I purchased 3 boxes of solar string lights. Now i can use them out front. Thanks. Martha
Looks awesome
Thanks for the introduction to sugru
You're welcome, Crystal! That stuff is no joke. My "home" light is STILL attached to the brick, through rain, snow, and everything in between! :)
Yes and that’s what I need it for my backyard brick wall 👍🏽
Looks beautiful and welcoming.
Hi Serena 😀 i enjoyed watching!!! I'm always UPLIFTED watching your projects... like the idea of lights on your home with beautiful flower and chairs
Great Idea, I'm going to try this in the basement.

That was cool. Looks Great.
Wow. Amazing video..subbed for life..
I. Love. This. So. Much!!
I love the glue piece idea. What happens to the glue pieces during heavy rain, sleet, ice, or snow? That's the winter I get in the mid midwest.
Looks great! I need some of that for sure! Sade is a great artist! 😊
Definitely going to try this! Nice job!
I loved this! Thank you for the inspiration ❤️❤️

Such a quick cute idea.

Would this stick on textured walls?
Love it so cute!
Hi Serena, how sturdy would you say that glue is..I'm wanting to hang string lights and would like a fairly permanent solution without drilling the brick. Thank you!
Simple and beautiful 🤩
Thank you! 😊
You need your own show on HGTV.
That amazing glue is most definitely invented by a woman who couldn’t get her Christmas lights up without drilling. I NEEEED this stuff! 😃

How does the glue come off after the holidays? Just chip it off?
Great video 🙂❤️❤️❤️❤️
So nice !
Pretty neat I love it

Didnt know there’s still women like you around, gives me hope for my future
She’s one of a kind like everyone else bud
Your front doors are fabulous. I like how fearless you are lol what happened to the pillow? Porch is very cute and welcoming.
The chairs look much more substantial and high end with the thicker wood. As usual, you did a great job.
What does Hone have to do with fall? 🤔
Would this stuff work on stucco?
Thank you!!
Wow! Really nice job!
Glad you like it! I was hopeful it would turn out and it did!
I like it but I would have cut a cubbie out of the bushes for both chairs then placed ottom(s) in front and tall flowers back ...surrounded by LED lights for a more intimate appeal. Have flowers floating from "home" to back of cubbie". Just a thought.
I love watching you get things DONE. This was lovely. Hope you enjoy the upcoming holiday
I have a textured ceiling where I want to hang lights. Command hooks weren’t holding. Would this work?
Love it!
Love it! Thanks! You became a subscriber!
Thanks so much!
Love this idea!! I needed a option to hang some string lights in my florida room and this will work great.
Yes, it works really well! Just let it cure for about 24 hours and make sure the tape is holding everything securely and there you go! It pulls out without damage or leaving any marks!
I love your energy and love your creativity ! Thank you for sharing and you are very inspiring!!
Does this work On stucco?
I would be interested in a follow up video on how long the sugru holds. I used it to patch up the top of my kids sandbox and it didn't last a year.
Very nice presentation. What power-washer did you use?
Nice!!
On the sugru site it says it is not easy to get off porous surfaces. Do you have a suggestion on how to remove from brick?
Men love conversation area’s 😇
So, with the zip locks, what you're saying is that you don’t have any screws loose? 😅😅😅. Sorry, couldn't resist! LOL. Maybe its me but $20/chair seems expensive. I wouldn't have gone over $10 ea. Is that moldable glue good in Canadian winter?
Good question! I don't know, because here in Maryland, we only get but so cold--not Canadian cold! But even throughout the seasons, it held up through rain, snow, and sun!
QUESTION ... Can the Sugru be easily removed from the brick when taking down the lights? Would appreciate an answer. Thank you.
I think if you press gently enough for it to stick, but not smear it into the brick, it's easier to remove.
Does it lift off/pull off after having the holiday lights up? Or is there a trick to removing it? I understand what you mean about not smearing it into the brick.
How do you take it off after the holidays?
I have actually left it up, but I am planning to do another video soon where I will attempt to remove it to see what the result will be, if it leaves marks, etc.
What is blue called, where do you get it?
Not sure if its available here
Such a good transformation.
Hey there what the glue brand? Thanks
Hey! :) The putty is called Sugru.
Is removing the glue hard?
Will this damage interior walls (drywall) when it's time to remove?🤔
Hi TD, what type hedge trimmer was you using?
Very niceee
I was looking for attaching christmas lighs and wanted NOT to remove or stain the stucco.after season.
I don't know if I can help you out there.
