One thing I like about Pipp is that her whole social media thing doesn't come off as "fellow kids" like some other media. She feels more like a real social media star.
That's a good point!
There were a few times where I personally felt that it was a bit cringy but for the most part, they handled the social media stuff a lot better than a lot of shows that have a character like that!
I love Pipp's design! She looks so adorable to me especially with her unique wings BUT I loathe her attachment to her phone and her tendency to blow off other ponies for what she wants

Zipp because she shows just because your a girl, doesn’t make you weak
And Pipp because of her body positivity, so she’s pretty cubby but she doesn’t let that stop her from being a influence on the internet and showing off her beauty

I am only now seeing the concept arts for Zipp and Pipp. While I am glad that they changed Pipp's design... Now I *wish* that Zipp kept her concept design. Damn she looks far more badass. And maybe it's because I'm an ignorant cismale, but I'm not necessarily one to see a character as trans just because they exhibit qualities that are conveniental for the opposite gender.
Pipp is more popular because she represent the majority of little girls. Girly, pink, likes dancing, singing and social media. Meanwhile Zipp represent anyone who doesn't fit into those feminine stereotypes. And those people are minority thus why Zipp will score less with the fans.
Zipp has been heavily compared to a tube of toothpaste. Unlike her sister, she didn't like living a lie and wanted to fly for real. Gliding was closest she ever got. Funny that they both have different second names, because they don't tie in to a family name. I'll bet Hasbro prefers Pipp because she does the legwork of their social media for them.

On the topic of the "dress code" stuff.
I was the only girl in my entire highschool graduation that wore a suit! I even had teachers who were like "You should've worn a dress" or "You would look great in a dress!" when 1. I have always HATED dresses and 2. It's none of their business! I even cut my hair out of spite for one teacher that hated my long hair... To donate what I cut off a charity for kids who lose their hair due to cancer!
My friends said that I looked good in my suit and that was all that mattered to me!

Zipp. My reasons are obvious: she is a very good athlete... and her analytical skills are almost comparable to Twilight. Like a Hunter x Hunter character.
after watching G5 I like to parody think to myself as a joke that Ponies reproduce without mating like normal animals as what could have happened is that Rarity when at time of passing away morphs into two separate Marshmellow objects that turn into Pipp and Izzy representing Rarity's main personality in two ponies.

Well both of them are very special in their own way sense zipp is a good detieve and is the oldest one and heir to the throne and plus a great big sister 👍 😀 👏 😉 and still the new rainbow dash💙💙💙🤍🤍🤍 and pipp is one of my favorite characters in g5 and also is the new rarity 🤍🤍🩷🩷and she is also a great character and funny at times and being a popstar and i love her design 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 and we both love girly things she's very cute 😍 ❤️ 💙 💗 💖 💕 😍 ❤️ 💙
