    Every pair of shoes I make is a custom-made pair for each individual client. The production period takes between 40 to 60 days, and the price ranges from $2,500 to $4,500 USD.

    I am Italian and I understand "something" about art. I listen to Verdi, Puccini, I read Dante and Manzoni, I look at the works of Raphael, Da Vinci and Bramante and also the clothes of Saint Laurent, Versace, Valentino or the shoes of Ferragamo. And when I want to see how a pair of shoes are made I look at the your magnificent videos because I think your art is at the same level as those great ones I just mentioned. Greetings from Italy and..... a big cuddle to your dog.

      I am an Afro German and understand something about the stuff 2. I'm in to the arts of Tupac, NWA, Basqqait, Nietsche, Hesse and graffiti from Iz de Wiz. The swagger of FUBU and vintage Air Jordans, the brand of the unmatched Michael Jordan. This shoemaker's great work is fire and makes me wanna dance like Michael Jackson in the Smooth Criminal video

    I so wish it was possible for me to learn this craft here in the US. It’s so hard to find any information and when you do it cost thousands just to learn, let alone the hundreds if not thousands to get the materials, tools, etc. I would love to be an apprentice though. Learning directly from a master shoe maker

    • @LuvMyCardiKids
      @LuvMyCardiKids Год назад +1

      Are you expecting to learn a skilled craft like this for free? You’re right, you have to pay a skilled artisan for their time and expertise to teach you and you have to invest in quality tools to produce a quality product. There’s a reason bespoke shoes cost thousands of dollars. It’s because the artist producing them has spent years and lots of money learning and practicing. I’d bet money that the only artists who didn’t pay to learn and are at this skill level were taught by their parent.

    • @PLC11
      @PLC11 Год назад +2

      @@LuvMyCardiKids I fail to see anywhere in my comment about wanting / expecting learning a craft to be free. I simply pointed out that one of the reasons I personally am being held back is because 1) it’s a hard craft to find people willing to teach around my area and 2) it’s very expensive. So the whole passive aggressive comment from you is just unnecessary lol….

    • @LuvMyCardiKids
      @LuvMyCardiKids Год назад

      @@PLC11 it’s totally possible for you to learn this craft here in the US. There are schools all over the US that teach. But you don’t seem to want to do that because it costs. Yes, you could apprentice but you know apprenticeships aren’t free either. The bottom line is that it is going to cost you thousands to learn this craft whether you go to school or whether you find an apprenticeship. That’s the reality of learning any trade.

    • @PLC11
      @PLC11 Год назад +2

      @@LuvMyCardiKids with all due respect no shit sherlock…… you’re saying things I already know and yet once again I never once implied I want or expect things to be cheap or free. I simply stated that I personally ( I like me, not talking about anyone else), just don’t have the means to pursue it so I watch videos and enjoy the craftsmanship from afar. It’s really not that deep….. chill lol

      If you live in an area, where there is no shoemaker around, or you are in another job, or whatever.... there are online courses available. I learn with Sveta Kletina. She has several courses on her website, I bought the whole bundle that was available by then, and bought some additional courses later. Her courses are very detailed. If you buy her courses you can also get her support when you have questions. There are also other online courses in the internet. I think you can learn as well from Terry if you become a member on this channel. My collegues are teasing me, that by the amount of money and time and injuries ( be ready to cut your fingers😅 ) I could have easily bought a couple of bespoke shoes. Yes, but I would have missed the deep joy of learning this craft. Still learning to the end of my life. Happy shoemaking!

    Three Points: 1) The transition from 3D curved surfaces to 2D and back again is amazing. Don’t ever computerize it. 2) I hope high-button shoes are not making a comeback. A bespoke pair may be fine, but mass-produced ones will probably not conform to my high instep like tie shoes. 3) I am happy to see this video of your outstanding craftsmanship and hope that you will continue to make them.

    I am so glad you decided to re-post this video. You took it down so fast the last time I missed it. You have a lot to offer to the world. Your skill is world class! Your craft is needed in this day and age. Something that isn’t political, or derisive. Instead you offer truth. I wish you would reconsider your hiatus. I think the world needs your patience, skill, and videos. It means a lot to me.
    I have watched everyone of your videos, most of them multiple times. This artistry cannot be found anywhere else on RUclips. Don’t get me wrong there are others. But I can’t take Trenton and heath shamelessly plugging their brand while ruining a good repair video with too much talking. Neither does Soriano Yosui hold a candle to your cinematography. The story you tell with shoes crafting is inspiring. If there are any negative comments ignore them. The trolls are always trying to bring others down because they have no talent. You have a gift! Show it to the world! and your apron top derby truly inspiring! The boots are amazing too!
